if your thinking about buying this, its definitely a good system, performance wise after you install the latest amd drivers and aslo reccomend installing direct x as well its identical to an xbox 360, its good for Need For Speed Most Wanted 2012 at medium settings 30fps sometimes you will get away with max settings on most 7th gen games from 2012 and 2000, just imagine running console like graphics settings it runs windows 10 and battery life when runng older games is an hour to an hour and a half. its definitally not perfect but its also a decent system. i definitely recommend this. will not run Halo Combat Evolved due to Direct 3d error, will not run Silent Hill 2, 3 and 4 without problems with the controls and also Driv3r has control problems as well, other games you will have to tinker with, and recommend a usb keyboard to creat user name for games like Test Drive Unlimited 1 and 2, Driver Parallel Lines, and BLUR, Racing games or other games.

Bought this unit on a whim. I was worried abou tthe specs and messaged the seller. I was assured that the unit was current and that it shipped with Win 11 out of the box. I looked at all of the specs and the processor while introduced 5 years ago, is still offered by AMD as a current processor. The memory and the drive specs are acceptable. The sticking point was that when I tried to activate Windows, I was hit with the invalid product key error, instructing me to go to the windows store and purchase a genuine copy of windows. I reported this to the seller who asked for a picture of the error screen, which I provided. They then said they needed to pass it off to their IT department and then went dark. I let them know I was going to start a refund with Amazon and they just replied with "okay frend". OK, back to the unit itself. As mentioned at the outset, the specs are mediocre at best. The unit is well put together, and the quality of the build is impressive for the price point. The graphics were acceptable, but the sound was a little tinny. Gameplay is OK for non FPS games, older FPS games are good, but gameplay of more popwer-intensitive FPS games in a little choppy. Ergonomically, I had some issues with the unit. The back was too smooth to get a decent hold of and it has no rubberized grips to help me keep hold of the unit while gaming. Aside from the windows activation issue above, the setup was standard for any Windows-based PC. Bottom line, it is a decent, but completely budget unit. If it is what you want, go ahead and buy it, I won't warn you off, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it either.

So this thing is great as a low level PC and cloud gaming device. It also works fine for browsing and streaming content on the internet and/or video apps. The cons are 1) it's kind of uncomfortable because there's no place for your bottom 2 fingers (bottom 3 if you have bigger hands like myself) so extended game play isn't really a thing 2) battery life is also staggeringly short with installed content especially 3) sadly in under a year my screen is actually coming apart from the unit.....which is unfortunate cause I can't do a thing about it. Not sure if its just the scree or if something is swelling inside. I hope it's the former cause if something (by something I mean battery) is swelling inside then I'm out of luck. 4) that brings me to my final con.......this thing is loud and hot.......period. This product is about $100-$150 too much and NEVER goes on sale...... Update: They did replace the battery but then the system went haywire and now it just is a big old expensive paperweight Don't buy

So from the reviews on this, I expected ot to be bad. But it is actually pretty good with some tweaks. The biggest upgrade that I did was the memory from the 8GB that comes stock, to 16GB. The drivers that are pre-installed are garbage too. I installed a fresh copy of Windows 10, and installed the drivers from Anbernic's website. I found compatibility to be MUCH better after doing this. The SteamOS image on the website doesn't work either, so don't bother with it. Lastly, the ergonomics on this handheld aren't great. Both thumbsticks are positioned at the bottom and requires some stretching to get to the triggers. Which is not great for 1st/3rd person shooters like doom or fortnite. Overall, nice handheld that has so far ran everything I've thrown at it (after the above tweaks). I can't recommend it for long gaming sessions though, because it will hurt your hands.

I received my win600 and in all it seems to be a pretty okay console. My main issue is upon receiving the console and turning it on it said my windows product key was already used on another device and it's very disappointing since that's a part I paid for that I'm gonna have to pay for all over again since Ambernic support won't actually respond to any of my emails. Overall good product but bad company Update: Ambernic responded and gave a activation key no questions asked
