To start off on this unbiased review, I don’t do these often. I’m an average consumer who buys and uses but never reviews. This is the first instance in my life where I genuinely feel the need to leave a review for anyone in between the line, to buy or not. Buy it. No seriously, the product is definitely worth the price. I’ve used many hard hats but never found one I genuinely liked and WANTED to wear, this is the first one I am excited to put on as it doesn’t bother me throughout the day and I genuinely forget it’s even there. During lunch time I find myself getting into my truck to go eat only to realize half way through I still have my hardhat on, this happens 2-3 times a week and it just makes me appreciate how light weight and comfortable this hardhat is. In regards to general safety of said item and the impact protection it provides, it is second to none. The suspension system is amazing and although it does snag on those with longer hair it can easily be fixed with a aftermarket suspension (MSA Skullguard Size Large). I like the suspension system shipped with this hardhat and I even had the experience to have a nail puller dropped directly on my head, from 17 ft in the air, which I did not even feel the slightest and left NO MARK on the carbon fiber material or finish, I still prefer the other suspension I stated earlier as it sits lower on my head and allows for a better fit. If you’ve read this far, I hope some of the points and experiences I’ve had has led you to decide on purchasing this hardhat. It’s honestly an amazing item and I recommend it to anyone and everyone. Im going to keep this as simple as possible for some but, give detail for those who desire. I’m a fan of carbon fiber products and was disappointed by the reviews. I decided to order this product anyway since I am a fan of real carbon fiber products, not the “looks like” stuff. -Simple review for me is overall a great product. Quality built and meets ANSI type 1, class C and G as descibed meaning I can wear it on any job site I’ve worked at, especially since 99% don’t check anyways (at least for me). Overall, great product but worth the money to switch out the headband for an MSA fas-trac III for the skullgard helmet (they come in different sizes FYI-standard and large) —I’ve read a few things regarding the weights and the 6 pt headband not being very good. Please see pictures: Carbon fiber helmet weight w/o band: 11.04oz Carbon fiber helmet w/ 6 point band: 16.58oz Obvious math is 6 point band weight of 5.53oz Just for reference and comparison: My skullgard helmet w/o band: 13.16oz Skullgard helmet with msa band: 16.68oz Obvious math is band weight of 3.53oz I took the fas-trac band from my skullgard before I spent money ensuring it was a proper and a direct fit and it is. It is also lighter Combination using the carbon fiber helmet with the fas-trac suspension band with a total combined weight of 14.57oz. The 6 point headband is not able to adjust in the way that the helmet sits lower on your head since I personally did not like how high it sat on my head. This problem was solved with the msa fas-trac suspension band with a weight saving of 2oz, double plus for me. Hopefully this helps someone.

This hard hat is great! Lightweight, cool looking, and very comfortable on the head. Probably the best thing is the suspension system. High quality material, and padded for comfort. I can barely feel it on my head. Most hard hats suspensions wind up causing pain in the back of my head after long use. I can wear this one all day without any issues. It is pretty expensive for a hard hat, but the comfort is worth it to me.

Pattern Name: Fiber hard Hat
Been wearing the brown fiberglass for 11 yrs and figured it was time for a new one. I perched the full matte black one. It has a very clean look, light weight, and solid carbon fiber. I gave it 4 stars due to my preference having a lower riding hardhat, and it wasn'tvery comfortable. I decieted to carefully remove the fake leather pad/cushioning thing at the top of the hardhat. Its a night and day difference in comfort and rides lower on the head, and dosent seem to comprise the safety as long as you dont cut the black safety strapping in the headgear. Always check with the manufacture when making these kinds of modifications to you headgear to make sure your hardhat will take the hit like its proposed to do.

Great hardhat for work. I don’t know if the design has changed from the one that I purchased but the stock headband had a sweat band on it that severely irritated my skin. Easily remedied by buying a different headband. The clips that hold in the headband to the hardhat can be a pain at times.

Fits like a glove, comfortable to wear all day and looks pretty bad ass to top things off! Scratches pretty easily, we’ll see how it holds up. Then again it’s a hard hat. It’s meant to get banged up!
