I bought this for my son, he does geothermal drilling and is in all kinds of weather. He loves it. Very light weight and adjustable to fit the actual person. Attached light is awesome. Definitely worth your money. Best thing I have bought him.

Here's my loves and hates: Love: The style and appearance - I get a lot of compliments on my hard hat Weight - It feels so much lighter an cooler on my head than a plastic hard hat Hate: Price - I feel the Lift hard hats are a little expensive, but, all carbon fiber hard hats are, so it is what it is Suspension system - It moves and articulates A LOT and sometimes pulls/pinches your hair. It took a little getting used to, but I can deal with it now, but it just seems so many moving points create a lot of room to have failure. Suspension system already has a broke piece (see picture). I just got this on June 30th and I don't wear it all day everyday either. Like I said above, too many moving parts in the suspension system. Chin strap accessory (bought separately) - I bought the Lift brand chin strap add-on accessory because some of the sites I go to require them, putting it on was a huge pain, and it doesn't stay in place very well, every time I put the hard hat on, I have to make sure the clips are attached properly. I REALLY wanted to love this hard hat, but there are just too many issues to give it anything higher than a 3 star. I have had $14 plastic helmets last a lifetime, and this $160 one isn't even a month on the job and is already breaking. ... show more

Super Nice hard hat, I expected it to feel a little bit better but maybe I just don’t have it adjusted to my fit just yet. I’m gonna have to say one of the best hard hats I’ve owned! Hands down!
