I have never used an ultrasound machine before, so there was a bit of a learning curve for me. It may be more intuitive for folks with experience using these devices. That said, once I got the hang of it, it's very easy to operate. I wish it came with different scanner attachments for different uses. Having options would make it more versatile for various applications. The machine seems to be well built and comes with a nice case for storage and transport. Overall, it's a solid piece of equipment if you're willing to spend some time learning how to use it properly. ... show more

The quality isn't good at all. I could barely see anything or make out structures. It also didn't have a long battery life and it sounded like something was loose inside the machine. I wouldn't recommend it, had to return.

This ultrasound honestly creates more questions than answers. For $500 you only get a certain clearness of the image. I even had my vet use it just to try it out to see, and even he had a hard time understanding what is being seen on the screen. If your animal is pregnant, you can probably tell with this. But if they’re not pregnant, it will lead you on and make you think they’re pregnant even when they’re not. So make of that what you will. ... show more

I purchased this machine from the manufacturers website, so I’m rating the product itself not the seller on amazon. For the price point this ultrasound machine does what it is intended to do. I can count kids and confirm pregnancy on my goats. (That is the reason I bought the machine). My machine came with a case and instructions. It is fairly simple to use and it may take some practice for you to know what you are looking at. It is high quality material and I don’t think it will break if I drop it. The battery lasts and it has good picture quality. If you want a better picture or to count when they are less than 30 days then I suggest buying a more expensive machine. ... show more
