The camera and features are very good however it’s sad to say that after one rain storm the laminate began to separate, so it is not “ weather proof”. Had to pack it up and send it back. If it’s going to be made of a wood type product they need to apply a water proof coating or sealer.

Squirrels have yet to destroy it

We have had this for over a year now and it has resisted the normal squirrel destruction. It also holds a lot, which is great. We live in a wooded area, so it gets lots of business. When our others wear out, we will replace with this one.

Won’t last through the first rain

Obviously, the bird feeder must be used outdoors in order to feed the birds…so why create a bird feeder that’s NOT waterproof?! The entire thing is swollen, moldy, and cracked after the first rain.

Camera stopped working (twice) the first time you need to recharge it.

This was a great product at first but as soon as the camera needed to be charged it would not work again. The first one I ordered did that and the seller sent me a new one and no cost but then the second one did the exact same thing and is unusable.

I bought this and the camera stopped holding a charge after a week. Seller said they would send another camera to me and gave me a tracking number and all. Amazon says they don’t know anything about it and a replacement was not sent. No other response from seller.

First, this is a nice looking feeder, clean lines, lots of room for birds all the way around it. It's easy to fill, fully opening as you lift the top. And it's squirrel proof! See the small green bird on the top of it? Well, lightly squeeze it to open the top, fill, then lightly squeeze and push it d
own onto the top. The squirrels can't knock it open, and since it's metal, they can't chew into it like they can with a plastic feeder! This is going to save me SO much seed! It will be very easy to clean, too, which is another plus. I hung it out this morning, and have multiple species, from small wrens to cardinals eat from it so far. I even had a woodpecker hang onto it and grab some sunflower seeds, which it took to a tree to eat, then came back for more. I'm happy with this purchase, and I give it 2 thumbs up!

The wife is the official crazy bird lady and she loves this style of feeder. She has finally figured out how to lock it down properly. Easy to fill, but the smaller seed does tend to just fall out the sides when filling or moving it around. We have been filling over the feed bucket to catch most of w
hat is not already caught by the bottom tray. Squirrels can eat off of the tray, but cannot get it open to feast like a buffet. Nice finish and holds a ton of feed. Great feeder.

I have a smaller version of this bird feeder and all I would say is I would like a larger version. This is it. Very well made, extremely durable and holds a lot of seed.

Warped with first rainfall

Received as a gift and was impressed with the workmanship. Unfortunately, with the first rain storm, the lid (roof) warped and separated at the joint and the back plate that covers the camera swelled and will no longer fit. I will probably try to rebuild it with cedar wood and incorporate the camera.
This was a nice-looking bird feeder but only suited for indoor use which kinda defeats its purpose. Do not recommend it.

There's a lot to like about this feeder. It's made of a strong metal. The paint seems very well done and thick. It is super easy to fill and clean. The only issue I have is the birds prefery verticle feeder to this one. The usually only feed here if the other is full of birds or is empty.

It’s a nice bird feeder but not squirrel proof.

This is a nice bird feeder and sturdy. The close down function does not work as well as in squirrel proof feeders I have seen. It is sturdy though and will attract the birds.
