I ordered two of the 16GB 4800 CL40 sticks and have them in my Asrock motherboard. They are working as expected in the system. 4800 CL 40 DDR5 is by no means fast or low latency, in everyday computing you likely won't notice a difference between this and faster ram though. Even in games, ram has a much smaller impact than say a CPU or graphics card. You won't get top performance out of your system with this ram; however, it's not going to meaningfully affect performance for most users to even notice and in game you can expect a performance impact of maybe up to a couple percent depending on the title. One odd choice for this ram is the lack of a heat spreader, I'm not sure how much of an impact it will have on your system, it's doing well in mine as I have a lot of airflow. Anyway, if the price is right, I'd say give these a shot if you're not looking to get the absolute top performance out of your system.

That’s right you technophiles and geeks out there, it is time once again for some more of the concepts or idea behind current PC and tech news. Maintaining its mission of delivering top-notch memory upgrades, this DATO DDR5 RAM is going to blast your fossil of a desktop into the realm of lighting speed. This lightning will be faster and at a rate of 4800MHz that means if you are using a machine that is slow like a turtle, then this will be five hundred times faster. Opening apps as if they are instant coffee and managing giant files in a matter of just finger snap, well, this must be black magic! And that 16GB capacity? Oops! For instance, you no longer need to close half of the Chrome tabs because your computer does not support it anymore. Managing many things at one go has never been as easy and effortless as it is now with the help of these apps. But here is the icing on the cake – this UDIMM stick didn’t melt under the heat in all the time that I was gaming. No more being in a mode where people look like you are just about to board a plane! By my choice, I am limited to more affordable models, the only drawback of which is the inability to upgrade earlier. Why have I wasted years watching those programs load to my computer when I could be enjoying this rocket-fueled RAM to carry and deliver my bits at light speed. Well, if you are willing to speed up to ludicrous speed then have a DATO DDR5 stick at your disposal as early as possible. However, to the improperly informed user, some common aspects may still pose a problem to the faster performance of their computer.

I am not sure why this item got some bad reviews, I worked just great for me. I installed it in my Asus Strix B650 and it ran perfectly. It was quick, and ranked well on all the benchmarks I ran on it. I couldn't find any objective issues with it at at all. While I would not call it "super fast," I would say is is highly competent and well worth the price, and it really doesn't matter what it looks like - it's memory.

Not bad not great but a good starter kit to get you on board the ddr5 train. Works just as described but you probably will not notice a difference in everyday tasks as this is mainly for every day computing email browsing files small games etc. over not bad but better options out there for the price.

My IT college course requires we have at least 16GB RAM to run two virtual machines at the same time, and this gets the job done! Nothing feels slow or sluggish, and this is a great amount of RAM to start with for gaming, productivity, or any other consumer computing needs. This is lower than low quality DDR5 ram. It is expensive for what it is. It's thin, poorly manufactured, virtually nonexistent heatsinks. It's just bad. For the same price buy anything else, it will likely be faster and look better.
