Full disclosure, I did not buy it to hold make-up brushes but as a small cup to rinse my mouth after brushing my teeth. I did not want a big glass/cup on the counter and this was a perfect size. It looks very elegant and does not take up much space, but functions as a small rinsing cup big enough to hold a decent amount of water to rinse my mouth after brushing my teeth. This was a perfect purchase size large. My hair brushes and combs fit perfectly and it is beautiful in cream. It’s built very sturdily, so it is difficult to push/knock it over. Highly recommend!
