Only reason I'm giving it 4/5 is because I noticed loose threading sticking out of the trim, but once I cleared it out the dress is great! Soft to the touch and fits very well around the waist. The zipper on the side helps it feel snug. The fabric does wrinkle but using a steamer helps a lot. The colors is sweet and soft. Was a little worried this would be super cheap looking but I took a chance from other people's reviews. Very happy. Needed something for a wedding and realized I didn't have anything but fall colors. Went with the lilac purple. Absolutely thrilled with the color. The jacquared detail really makes it look fancier. The material is nice and light without being see through and does have a bit of stretch. Side zipper is nice to get on and off easy but you will need two sets of hands to get it closed and the stretchiness of the material doesn't make it stiff enough to allow the zipper to slide without support. If you are, ahem, full of figure on the bottom, the split stretches out so far it runs all the way up to an area very few of us would be comfortable revealing in public. Wore it to an awards show. Got a ton of compliments. Definitely get some pasties because it’s tough to wear underwear or a bra under. I couldn’t get the zipper but it was stretchy enough I was able to climb into it and out of it. It does arrive wrinkled so you may want to get it steamed or pressed before wearing at the dry cleaners. Definitely dry clean only! Was very comfortable on. Hot sweaty carpet in LA in July and was great for a night of dancing! You may want to wear shapewear as it’s a bit unforgiving on the tummy, though it’s ruched on one side which makes it flattering from the side angle. I opted to wear without underwear as I didn’t want a VPL and it was long enough that I had no issues with worrying about anyone seeing anything. My bra (seven strapless) showing on top was more of an issue so I’m getting pasties and a skims or shapeear / spandex high rise thong for next time I wear it. Looks a lot more expensive than it is.
