With wheel in place, it doesn't move well. Would need substantial imbalance for bubble to show off center. Not worth buying. Chinese junk. Pay the extra money and buy a better quality unit if you want to balance wheels. I'm very disappointed.

Works fine ,easy to use . Being a retired high performance mechanic and driver I was not absent of experience balancing tires with a bubble balancer . I filled the pin well with 10 weight oil spun it a few times set the bubble null per instruction and the rest is history. Happy with my purchase .

When properly used, a good bubble balancer will do a great job. This tool works very nicely. If you use the BADA wheel balance method splitting the weights in a Y configuration on both sides of the wheel, the bubble balancer will yield optimum results with near perfect static balance and very little chance of significant dynamic imbalance. Notwithstanding the use of computer balancing machines common in tire shops, a lot of old time mechanics such as myself continue to get great results with a good bubble balancing tool. This tool is well worth the money.
