  • 3rd dasaita and I'll buy again.
Color: 10.2'' Singel Din 1280*720(4G+64G) Vivid11
I got the px6, 4gb, 64 gig with rotatable screen. It matches the interior of a 2020 freightliner cascadia quite nicely. The included plug is perfect plug and play(no switching red and yellow around). If your just replacing the radio, it's literally a 15 minute job. The longest part is reversing the entrance point for the antenna and radio plug so they don't get pinched. Just remove the bracket for the stock radio and plop it in with the included bracket. The screen is tight and sturdy, gps is accurate and works with drivewyze(need ro find a auto launch for it) . If you listen to podcast on YouTube while driving, the screen blanks out on the video part (it's made and shipped that way, there's a option in settings to change it to show video). Now I don't have to dim the screen while driving at night. USB can be ran out of the pull side for the fuse department. I can even tell a difference of improved sound with the stock speakers (gone this weekend, 2 new 5.25 for the front, 2 new 6x9 in the bunk and my microwave spot in the bunk gets a full size 12 inch subwoofer. I'll squeeze some 12awg ofc wire in speaker terminals and run it for all 5 speakers from the amplifier. There's a mid out also. The only actual problem is a 3d off color effect on movies to go while trying it out. Amazon, hulu and YouTube work fine and I just wanted to check it out. I'm not using the bluetooth, radio, video in or dvr. Micro sd is l located on the right side of it. A Samsung EVO shows 476.5 gb free after formatting. At first , I was mad. The speakers kept cutting out when I hit a bump. So I changed the plug, then I cut the terminal out of the 2 ground wires and soldered them together. I finally noticed I can cut the sound by sitting or rocking in the driver's seat a certain way. The heated seat wire was getting pinched (didn't know I even had them). I don't know why, but relocating out solved the problem. Updated from Android 9 to 10. Was kind of a headache. I managed to get everything done without a pc, just a android phone,10 year old usb drive and a usb type c to usb adapter. The plus, I think the old usb drive was the cause of the headache, but after 15 tries or so and lots of reading it installed. Made the unit more responsive and better memory management. Since I had to wipe the unit clean, I reformatted the 512gb micro sd that I swapped into the gps slot as internal memory. The unit renamed the gps to Samsung micro sd and I no longer have to manually change settings to use the sd card. I'm actually wondering if a 1tb will work. I had a extra 2.5 inch 5tb hard drive, stuck it in a external case, bought a usb 3.0 with extra power cable and moved movies over to it. It's much better watching movies on this than a galaxy tab s5e. I've updated to the march 2021 android 10, no issues. If you're putting this in a freightliner. The speaker wires do not like a amplifier. You can run a sub no problem. ... show more

  • This is a great head unit!
Color: 10.2'' Singel Din 1280*720(4G+64G) Vivid11
I installed this myself and added a bluetooth steering wheel control system, a rearview camera, a dash cam, an aftermarket wifi antenna, a 5V output to switch on my amps, and a bluetooth tire pressure monitoring system. I've not yet gotten the dash cam to work, so I have a bit more figuring to do and I also haven't had the sensors installed in my tires yet. But, the stereo works wonderfully, I've got an SD card installed with about 300 CDs worth of songs. The handsfree phone works great and so do the bluetooth steering wheel controls. ... show more

  • Does not work with a 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime SE
Color: 11.6”Singel 1920*1080 (4+64G) Scout
To save fellow prime owners some time, I copied exactly Skyler_Toyota's install with the Dasaita 11.6 Scout and CB047 cable on my 2021 Prime SE. I confirm everybody's previous experience of the steering controls no longer working. After updating the unit firmware, I tried all 10 options in the canbus factory settings with no joy. The OS has a native steering wheel button learning under the Car settings section that sparked some hope but no button pushes were ever registered by the HU on any canbus setting. Possibly related - there are (4) stock HU cables which are abandoned by the Dasaita unit. I believe a couple of these are related to the XM antenna. For the Prime SE, getting the rear camera to work would require splicing into the stock wire harness as there does not exist a backup camera output RCA connector provided by Toyota. Positives: + Straightforward install if you have the correct cable harness. + Sound improvement over the stock HU was noticeable. + Android tablet with lots of customization potential. + Built-in GPS navigation with split screen capability (tested with youtube) - Requires wifi. Negatives: - Trim fit of this unit is nonsense. There is zero chance of getting the stock HU trim to fit this Dasaita HU and not have glaring fit problems. Not for folks who want clean lines for sure. - Android 10 Play Store strangely did not have Netflix, Disney+, etc. HBO Max played video but no sound. No further testing done. - Built in wireless Android Auto through Zlink was buggy just sitting in the garage. Never road tested. - Backup camera requires wire splicing the stock harness. Bottom line: Returned and still waiting for a HU that will work with the Toyota RAV4 Prime LE. ... show more

  • It's okay . Read my review after 7 months of use
Color: 10.2'' Double Din 1280*720(4G+64G) Vivid11
I've had this head unit for about seven months now and now I can do a proper review. First of all things I don't like. When in call happens through your phone to the head unit if it's not on volume one it will blow your eardrums out there's no way I have found to turn down the volume when somebody's calling you I have children in the truck and it is the most miserable thing to hear it is so loud. Second thing I do not like I have noticed the sound quality was cut in half. It doesn't have very good high-definition quality to run low frequencies through your subwoofers or very good mids . The interphase on car kit does it allow you to control your Pandora Bluetooth or you're any live streaming music on your phone you have to exit out of the home app go into the Bluetooth settings to work through your phone you have to use the Bluetooth app kind of inconvenient then you have to exit out of that and go back to the home car kit. Things I do like the screen is nice touch sensitivity is good. It doesn't shake or rattle I would be giving more stars if it didn't blow my eardrums out when incoming call came in ... show more
