It looks to be well built and decent quality but due to the length of serrations they will be of little use. To saw something the serrations can handle could easily be snapped by hand. I was hoping to use it for to hammer tent stakes in but I don't believe it is up to that task. I was military for many years and expecting something a little bigger and sturdier as a shovel but it should work. I am not going to dig fox holes or anything so for light digging on the surface it should be fine and for $16 I will keep it in the truck and it will serve me well. ... show more
