I found these shoes to be very comfortable, and I purchased them because of the cork sole and attractive style,. However, they were large on me and as I was going to return them, I noticed that the little cardboard insert said 39 to 40 so perhaps I should’ve ordered a size down in this style because I do not have especially wide feet.. But I did enjoy the fact that they are very feminine, and did not truly show my toes…. which are not very attractive by a longshot. So maybe in this particular style I should’ve ordered a half size down or wished that they came in a narrow rather than a wide. ... show more

The shoes are super cute and mid-range comfy but it’s a bit on the expensive side for what they have to offer. The soles are cork and without arch support. The strap fits slightly wonky, if your ankles are slim, letting the grey Velcro they’re sitting on, show through. After the first wear, the cork soles sunk quite a bit, which makes my feet emit unseemly farting noises while walking in them because now there are pockets of air under my arches. The shoes can be worn out 5-7 times, comfortably, if you’re the kind of person who plans to walk in them (~1 mile each time). After that point, they begin to look worn out, lose shape, and can be quite uncomfortable. They shouldn’t be priced over $50, if this is the quality provided. I’m a loyal Dansko customer, so I’ve been buying their shoes for years without any complaints. This pair was actually disappointing in terms of quality (not the style or appearance—those were perfect). If I’m shelling out this amount of money, it’s because I need quality over everything else, which seemed missing this time. ... show more

I bought these to take on an overseas trip for wearing when going out at night. They looked nice when worn with both slacks and skirts. The arch support and thick foot bed with rubber sole were a great alternative to any shoe with a heal when walking on cobblestone streets.
