I wear this style of boot all year round on our small farm in Kansas. I also typically wear them around town too, but the full boot version is heavy and not conducive to walking long distances. I saw these recently on an Internet add and thought this would be a great everyday boot with some all day comfort...so far I've been right. Like any new boot there is some break in time required, but after this initial break in period I've been very pleased with the quality and performance of these boots. They are a good looking boot and are much easier to put on and take off than the equivalent full-length boot. They seem to fit true to size which is an issue with some new boots. They shine up real nice and so far, seem to be reasonably scuff resistant when I'm kneeling down with the toes on the ground. I think though that ultimately what drew me to these boots is the fact that they are made in the U.S.A., this is a rare thing these days. I've had them for about a month now and I'm confident that I'll get many years of wear out of them. I definitely recommend these boots for the reasons stated. ... show more

Fantastic, good quality leather, tight fit, light on the feet considering the durability. Usually slip on boots like these have poor ankle support which is what I was worried about before getting these. When I put them on for the first time though I was surprised by how tightly they fit around the ankles giving great support for the ankle. If your worried about ankle support for these boots you have nothing to worry about. ... show more

These are boots you will have for a while. Totally work the $$$ look great with jeans or khakis. Great for the office. Size was right on no break in. Plus Danner has a repair program to make these a paid of boots you will have for a very long while.

These boots are insanely uncomfortable. Im over a month in and stopped wearing them over a week ago. Before that it was only a few hours every few days to try and get them broken in. Sharp edges everywhere inside it’s like wearing cinderblock. I’ve heard great things about danner and this was a sour experience. I may have got some duds but reality is I have $240 boots that made my whole body sore. So for that I give 10 👎 ... show more

Fast delivery. Fits true to size and width. Bit lighter than I expected . I’m use to logging boots , and these are extremely light which makes me a bit skeptical of the durability. Guess we will see. Danner says they can be re soled and rebuilt. Glad to see they are made in the USA. Had Danner Ft Lewis boots issued in the military and they were good boots.
