I own an MMA gym and actually enjoy jump roping myself. I have probably at least 30+ different ropes that I have purchased over the years. I first ordered this Damage rope along with a Buddy Lee Jump rope that costs close to $40. I really only ordered this as a cheap rope to let the other gym patrons use. Turns out I hated the $40 rope and went back to Amazon to order 3 more of these. They are cheap, simple, durable, and work fantastic. No fancy bearings, silly adjusting mechanisms, or ergonomic handles. Just a fast, even, quality jump rope. Goes to show that sometimes simple is better. Well done. Will probably end up getting a few more to replace some of the old ropes. ... show more

I really like this jump rope I thought it was gonna be like like any other but the material is actually pretty different and nice I use it a lot cuz I’m a boxer n it really is nice but I’d probably just want it to be heavier if anything.

I’m actually writing this review after I bought another jump rope at the same price since I wanted to try 5mm and this one is 4.5cm. This jump rope is great and I liked it and used it regularly since getting. However, after getting the other one I was amazed by the quality difference between them and realized how much of a great value this one. The quality is at a different level. The material of the rope is superior and definitely untangled material. The handles are very comfortable. This jump rope is a great bargain. ... show more

    • Perfect Beginner Speed Rope!
This PVC rope was amazing during my cutting phase. Its a very durable, light weight, well balanced speed rope. These handles were perfect and are very comfortable for doing tricks like cross-overs, double unders, and releases. Heres a tip though: After you get this rope in and size them up, boil a pot of water and dip these in for a couple of seconds and then lay them out flat. This takes out any kinks and makes the rope feel sooo much better than right out the box. Feel free to do it any time the rope is tangled and wrinkly to bring them back to life. ... show more

Bought this to take with me on vacation so I’d have something to do with no access to my gym. Great little thing to stick in a bag and pull out when you have time. Works just like it should, I’m a big fan of the way you can adjust the rope length (like a clip system of sorts, very easy to figure out). A good number of people complain about the weight of the rope, but it’s perfect for me. No problem with the quality (can’t beat it for the price). A bit flimsy but the plastic seems durable. The rope feels stretchy but it’s held up after a few uses with no major tears/knicks in it. The only thing I’d criticize is the white damage logo that rubbed off after my first major use of this thing, seems totally unnecessary ... show more

    • Love it, good beginner rope
For less than 10 bucks this is a fantastic rope to begin with. Been using this for over a month and it's held up well. The ability to adjust this to your size is super easy. The rope is durable and doesn't tangle, making it a simple task to get a great workout in.
