The GORE-TEX insert featuring Gore Warm technology optimizes the inner lining, membrane, and outer material to keep hands warmer for longer, and a Rubbertec palm confidently lends grip and brings amplifies durability in a heavy-wear area of the glove. As a bonus, an external water- resistant zipper stash easily stashes a locker key or cash and doubles as a heat pack pocket when the weather takes a turn toward frigid.

I went back and forth over returning these gloves and I ultimately decided to keep them. I really like the little pocket on the outside for stashing a hand warmer and the belts to tighten them. I was disappointed by the inner liner. The polyester just wasn’t warm enough and I ended up buying a wool glove liner to use instead. This made a huge difference for me when riding on ski lifts in the Canadian winter. The fit of the gloves also wasn’t quite right. The included liner fit my hand perfectly, but I still had an extra inch of space in the exterior gloves which made me feel like I had clumsy astronaut gloves on.     • Comfortable and stayed dry
They fit well with or without liner. I loved external zipper pocket for hand warmers or other things such as cards. Although it sounds disgusting, the Nose wipe thumb panel comes in handy. Let’s face it, everyone gets a little runny nose when skiing. I can’t recall trying to use my phone while wearing gloves. I noticed my fingertips did get cold at times. I have raynaud‘s that makes me more sensitive and would likely not bother someone with normal circulation. The long straps got in the way and we’re quite annoying. I’m not sure if they were the “removable wrist leash,” but if so, I didn’t see any instructions on how to remove. Overall I was pleased and would consider buying again ... show more

    • Good glove, but sizing a little weird
I got these for my wife as a gift as she was in need of new gloves. The gloves were very good quality and very warm, and the sizing across the palm was true to the recommended sizing listed. However, the fingers were way too long. My wife has pretty small hands with what I would say are average-length fingers. If you have thin hands with long fingers, these will probably be great. ... show more

    • Don't keep fingers warm at all in Frigid Temperatures

I was really hoping I would love these. They seemed well made and sturdy and I liked the inner removable extra layer. I have a farm and horses and it was nice to not have fleece on the cuff for hay to get stuck. However, they were not warm at all. I just went out to plow the drive with the tractor and I was out there for 23 minutes. My fingers were frozen, I could not feel my fingertips and I was even wearing the extra inner layer. It is 5*F with a -9*F windchill. Multiple times I had to pull my fingers down into the palm of my hand to warm them enough to be able to feel them. I was super disappointed that these gloves that are for skiing all day in the mountains couldn't perform for 23 minutes. It's important that I can be out in the cold for hours and not have frozen fingers and these were an awful disappointment. ... show more

These gloves do run a little small, so I recommend sizing up. They kept my hands super warm while I cleared my driveway in the last nor'easter. The liner gloves are great by themselves if you are just running into a store. They kept the snow and cold out while I made snow angels and threw snowballs. I highly recommend them! ... show more
