  • Well fitting and great for urban bike rides
Color: Black
Comfortable for an all day ride it holds enough water for it too. It looks good and material is quality all worth the price witch isn't bad .

  • Good pack with potential for greatness…
Color: Vandal
I liked this pack enough to buy 2….while they were on sale for $50 each. I bike and run, and I like to have a pack designated for each activity. I don’t know if I’d pay full price, especially because I had to buy bite locks and quick release for both packs. Let’s start with the good. Just the right size for longer rides and runs but compact-able enough for shorter. I’m able to fit another 1L soft water bottle into the pack along with snacks and small assortment of tools or dog treats. With 2L of water this pack feels fine to me…with 3L of water it’s a bit annoying but more comfortable still than a backpack. For reference, Im a female, 5’7 and 135#. The pack has internal compartments for organization, daisy chain on the outer pocket and handy straps on the bottom to hold a jack or knee pads. Overall, this is my go to fanny pack for running and biking. Now for the bad or just cheap on Dakine part. The bite valve did not come with a lock, so I was leaking water all over my car until I bought one from osprey. Second, on the bladder it is printed that you should periodically lubricate the o ring for “plug and play”. I couldn’t get that thing out to save my life!! I added a quick release connection at the bladder to solve this issue. It makes it MUCH easier to fill the bladder outside the pack and not have to thread the hose out each time. Not deal breakers, but I felt like Dakine was going cheap instead of adding a few modifications that would cost them nothing. Also, another reviewer mentioned that the magnet holding the water hose was weak…I’ve had it pop off once or twice in 3 months? I just started tucking the hose through the compression strap on the side and have had no issues. ... show more

  • Perfect for a motorcyclist
Color: Cascade Camo
Yup, that's right. I bought it for my longer trips on the moto. I've worn it on multiple day trips and it's fantastic! I can sip water and clip it back in place while riding with no issues. It even adds lumbar support when I need to sit back a bit once fatigue sets in. I wore it around the house for several days to get use to clipping the magnet without needing to look down bc well that would be dangerous on the highway. Once I got the muscle memory down I was good to go! The magnet is strong enough to hold despite the speed. So why dock it a star? The ONLY thing that needs improving is how the pouch stays fastened in the bag. The bag tends to fall down inside the pack more times than not. End of the world? Nah but could be improved. Would absolutely buy this again if needed. ... show more

  • Great camera bag for bikepacking
Color: Midnight Blue
I didn’t want to carry my Sony A7 camera (plus lens) in a bikepacking bag because the vibrations are really rough on cameras. So I opted for this hop pack and took it on a 3 day bikepacking trip in Northern Montana. I LOVED it! It’s a bit snug if you have a camera and a full bladder. Most of the time I’d keep the bladder about 2/3 full so that the camera was easier to fit. I recommend putting it in with the lens facing up and then zip over the lens. That’s the orientation I found to be the easiest when you are also carrying water. ... show more

  • Pack is good, bladder is bad
Color: Steel Grey
My first impression is the pack itself is great. The bladder that came with it was their most basic one. No lock on the bite valve, no quick disconnect. It didn't show those on their listed picture. I just assumed since Dakine sells replacement reservoirs with both a lock and quick disconnect that this one would as well. Forcing me to buy the replacement to have basic features it should come with imo. Once again the pack itself is great. ... show more

  • So happy
Color: Ashcroft Camo
I looked and looked for the right pack for mountain biking. I found it. Exactly what i wanted for the right price. Holds everything and a little more. Super comfy, rides well if you cinch down the belt. It’s such a small dumb thing but its made out of the same camo material as my dakine bike bag. I love that they match. ... show more

  • Great pack
Color: Ochre Stripe/Port
Fits great, hold everything you need plus 2L water, has an extra cell phone pocket (a little tight even for a standard size smartphone). The water nozzle lets plenty of water through. The pack doesn't bounce when downhilling as long as you have it cinched. Easily fits elbow and knee pads in the straps for uphill riding. Also, very stylish. ... show more

  • Very comfortable and hold a lot of water!
Color: Cascade Camo
I really like this hydro pack! It barely fits me though. I'm 5'10" and 220 lbs. It's on almost its loosest setting and the hose just barely makes it to the magnetic clip. I've only rode with it once so far but it was way easer than a bottle in a cage and holds WAY more water. I would highly recommend! ... show more
