Description

The Tatula LT lineup reflects the sophisticated engineering and design that has vaulted spinning reels on to the center stage of the bass fishing world. The Zaion Body is composed of a "high density" carbon strain material that is lighter and stronger than conventional construct material. The Tatula LT reel is one of the lightest spinning reels on the market. The state of the art Air Rotor design is 15% lighter yet stronger by dispersing the pressure evenly over the part. The digitally Machined Aluminum Alloy Digigear is smooth and flawless, delivering the power of the handle directly to the rotor with zero play. The 7 ball bearing system allows the parts to move effortlessly. The Daiwa Tatula LT series of spinning reels utilizes state of the art materials and technology to create a versatile tool designed with the more sophisticated bass fisherman in mind.

  • Lightest 2500 on market and well worth the buck sixty two
Size: One Size
I sometimes think I am holding a much smaller reel but when put to task, it shows up as a fantastic Bass reeling system. Hauled in a 30 inch Pickerel with no trouble, about 4 lbs and full of piss and vinegar. Several Bass all under 2 lbs so far. All whacky rigged. But I am sure it will handle a much larger Bass with the system. 7'0" MH St.Croix Mojo Bass and 15-lbs Powerpro v2 slick. great stuff. Almost as comfortable as my 7'3" MH GLoomis MegaBass with a Stradic ci4 and 15lb PP with shakey head. But I am leaning toward the Daiwa almost universally. Tying on new rigs becomes a semi-chore in a kayak with battle tested hands and age. I carry a minimum of 5 rods always so I can swap out a technique. 2 baitcast for Carolina rigs and two spinning rods. A fifth light weight panfish rod and sometimes two or more of those. If I had to rebuy all that gear again, I would get the the Tatula over the Stradic because of Price differential. Hard to beat little reel. If on sale, snatch it up you won't regret it! ... show more

  • Quality reels!
Size: One Size
Diawa makes some of the best reels. This reel is very light and helps balance out your rod and reel combo. Drag is also very smooth.

  • Feather light, buttery smooth retrieve, strong drag, a complete fishing tool.
Size: One Size
I own 19 quality reels. The Tatula outfishes them all.

  • Great reel
Size: One Size
These reels have a very good drag. I have 4 of them in a couple different sizes. The only thing I wish they were a little cheaper.

  • Smooth and Light spinning reel
Size: One Size
So far I'm really loving this spinning reel. I've fished with this reel for a couple of outings and have some 15 pound PowerPro line spooled up on it. Drag is very smooth, retrieve is smooth, casts well, and this thing is feathery light; definitely lighter than my 2500 Stradic Ci4. This reel has handled some nice 3-5 pound bass with ease. Only time will tell how "tough" these reels are since it does feel light to the point it almost feels plasticy, but so far it has treated me well. I'm mainly using the 2500 size as my drop shot reel on a ML rod. ... show more

  • Lives up to the Hype!
Size: One Size
I own four Diawa reels and this is by far my favorite. I have the BG, Exceller, Fuego, and now this one! Its INSANELY lightweight and because of that, you're able to feel more on your rod. Drag is smooth as butter and its super sleek looking. I would highly recommended this reel, especially if you're able to find it on sale. ... show more

  • Excellent finesse bass fishing reel!
Size: One Size
This is the perfect reel for a finesse bass fishing (wacky worm, drop shot, shaky head, etc) rig. I paired mine with a 6'8" St Croix Avid rod and have already caught a ton of fish of varying sizes on it. It is unbelievably smooth, and I just love fishing with it!
