All settings are very important It is very important to read all the instructions. Many times I read that some of these reels fail. I believe they fail because people don’t follow instructions. You have to remember it’s electronic device and have different steps. Do you have to take to adjust to the fishing you’ll be doing. One thing I found out through the mini videos how many questions to ask at the tackle shops where it is very important to read all the directions and follow them very closely. I will be using News for tuna fishing still setting up real but I believe that application this would be the perfect Reel. ... show more

I returned this item because it wouldn't power on, and amazons customer service has been terrible dragging their feet with the refund. I've never had such bad customer service anywhere before. Considering cancelling my membership.

I order this for an upcoming fishing trip. I have been learning the functions and will have to write a review after I use it on the actual use the reel. So in testing I gave it 5 stars. The thing that I was not happy about it does not include the power source (Battery) Make sure to find the appropriate battery to operate the reel. ... show more

Boxes had water damage, I'm ok with that but I believe I recieved a defective item as the clutch did not engage on the electric reel. This is not my 1st electric reel and I'm not happy with the performance. The gears sounds like they are grinding. It was my impression this reel was made in Japan but the box said made in Thailand. ... show more
