Super nice reel. Threw it on a daiwa Proteus wn rod. Sick combo. Running 50lb daiwa j braid. This and my Okuma Komodo are the latest additions. Daiwa is smoother and faster retrieve. The Lexa 400 exceeded my expectations in every way- it casts like a dream, can easily handle a twenty pound yellow-fin tuna, and the retrieve couldn’t be smoother. This has become my go-to reel for any surface action.

Only giving three stars the real is amazing works fantastic I just had an issue with the handle coming loose on the first trip out would recommend checking the handle Or adding some Loctite to the screws so it doesn’t back off in your hand with a big fish on

Spooled the reel with 25lb Big Game and holds quit a bit. No problem winching in 30lb Blue Cat in swift current. I will never use another reel other than this one. You will not regret it.

This reel is the best reel I have ever owned and I lots of reels. I used it on a deep sea fishing trip and had no trouble hauling up large rock fish. Looking forward to using it again. Buy this reel you won't regret it.
