I bought this corset several months in advance of a special event. When I tried it on the day before, I noticed one of the bones was poking through, so I quickly repaired it, thinking it was an isolated incident. When I actually wore the corset out, another bone poked through and the fabric completely ripped at the side. It was NOT tight-laced - I like to breathe - this was just wearing it out to a club to dance. Given the pricing and the brand, I expected much better quality fabric and construction. While it's a very pretty design, looking like I've lost a fight at bar was not how I wanted to look a few hours into the night. It might be nice pose for boudoir pix, but if you intend to wear it our as an actual item of clothing, stay away. The only reason that I'm not giving it one star is that the actual lacing cord was of good quality, and none of the grommets popped out (the issues I typically see with low quality production). ... show more

Worn once for three hours and the metal ribbing poked through the fabric. This is too much money to spend on a single use item—which I don’t think it’s meant to be, but I can no longer wear it with getting stabbed.

Initially bought a medium and looked fine when I pulled it out, but once zipped I noticed one side was at least an inch higher than the other. I went by the waist measurement (29 or something close I believe) and that was fine but it was waaaaaaay too small for my 36DD chest. I have a small back so I thought it would fit but def not. So I returned and sized up to the large. This one also had the uneven bust line tho not as noticeable. My problem with the large is that it has to be cinched super tight at the waist and the bottom is too big for the hips. Also it is cut so super high in the back that it interferes with my chicken wings. Like when I move my arms around they rub. I’ll keep it bc I wanted it to wear under a blazer, but it could have been cut 6 or 8 inches lower in the back and would have been more flattering and much more comfortable. As is, it makes me feel like I’m in an ice cream cone. Also it doesn’t give a curvy look, but rather stuffs you in a triangle. So the girls look nice coming out the top but from the side my body looks oddly flattened. The laces are like shoe laces and very long and are 2 separate sets. So you can tie the bottom tighter and leave the top looser without it shifting while wearing. Which is good, but makes it difficult to do yourself. Guess I’ll keep looking for that perfect fitting corset. ... show more
