This is definitely the best trimmer I have ever owned! The metal base is well marked making it easy to line up whatever you’re cutting and the accuracy is incredible. If you’re cutting a photo in half or shaving a very small edge, it functions just as it should. The Dahle quality is obvious as soon as you open the box and it feels durable enough to last a lifetime. I purchased this trimmer to use on photograph's and it leaves a very clean edge.

This is a great choice for those seeking to purchase a high quality rotary trimmer. The base is metal and not plastic, measurements are accurately painted onto the metal surface area whereas others use large plastic stickers that are easily scratched/scored and/or bubble, the rotary blade glides effortlessly and works together with the integrated guidance ruler to securely hold paper in place when trimming/cutting, and a mechanical click at each end of the gliding blade subtly confirms completion of a glide stroke. This paper trimmer is surprisingly lightweight albeit comprised of metal, but it is definitely a solid paper trimmer that will reliably do its job again and again. Be mindful of its sizable measurements because it will require some real estate within your home, so consider its placement. It’s often said that you get what you pay for, and you’re definitely getting a high quality paper trimmer here. I most definitely received a used unit given the undeniable state of the box it arrived in, but it still looks and works as good as new. It’s important to note that there are no aftermarket alternatives for the encapsulated rotary blade should it need to be replaced, and a proprietary replacement is the only option. If you do a lot of cutting and/or trimming, this is an excellent choice.

I couldn't be happier with this purchase! It's incredibly durable and stable, was ready to use right out of the box, and makes perfect cuts every single time.

It’s been a while since I’ve needed office supply so I did not expect the well made, fine accuracy this paper cutter deliveries and the value! This company is serious about their cutting edge technology! Not junk. Pure precision! Highly recommend!

AMAZING PAPER CUTTER! Best one I've ever used! This was my 4th paper cutter purchase and I sure wish I had gone with Dahle from the get go because this one is stellar! It cuts perfectly! Whoever designed this machine deserves the best of everything! Grateful!

This is excellent, and beautiful, trimmer. I bought this trimmer with Dahle’s 72” stand, which I highly recommend (see my review there). I’ve used trimmers for over 30 years at several engineering firms but this is the first one I’ve owned. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for. This trimmer gives sharp and accurate cuts, and I’m very happy.

Robust and very smooth acting. Precise. Can jump out of alignment if you try to force something too thick through the cutting process. If you stay within the limits advertised you will be very happy. We cut long straight pieces in our sign shop and this really speeded up the process. Arrived well packaged and super easy to operate.

This was definitely a used or previously returned item. The product box arrived smashed, and there was no protective packaging, such as foam or other support, around the cutter. That was especially disappointing because it is not the level of quality or presentation I would expect from a company like Dahle. The cutter itself does appear to work properly, but for the price and the Dahle name, I expected it to arrive new, properly packaged, and protected.
