Like normal you have to assemble these stools. One of the threaded inserts was blocked by a staple that was used to assemble a section of the stool. It required small diagonal cutters to cut the staple out of the way thereby allowing the bolt to be attached to the threaded insert. In addition, the stain or paint that was used had coated the threads of two of the threaded inserts. It required a tap and die set to clear the threads and allow for the bolt to be inserted. Since I did not have a tap & die set I was required to purchase one. Unfortunately, the first one I purchased was SAE. Of course the chair used metric bolts. So now I have both metric and SAE tap and die sets. I guess that’s ok because I will have them for future use. But after all that said, I did end up with two nice stools.

These “bar stools “ look like they belong in a kindergarten classroom!! They would not issue a refund. I have had nothing but trouble for months dealing with my returns. They are made terribly and the height is not correct.

I am very pleased with my purchase. The order of chairs arrived on time and packaged well. Assembly was a breeze, other then you want to use a drill (on slow!)for the drywall screws that anchor the crossbars on legs, unless you got mad sceedriving skills! * One of the four chairs I ordered arrived undamaged but was made wrong. It was the back piece that connects to the seat. The bolt holes wasn't predrilled enough for the bolt given to be tightened without pushing out the back of the chair... But the seller immediately responded by replacing the item and the new one arrive quickly and undefective. I can't say they are top quality, but they are awesome quality for the price you pay per piece! They look great and seat well, and I'm a big person (250lbs).

The chairs look fantastic around our butcher block kitchen table. Nail heads make the chair. Plus easy assembly which made it faster for us to use and enjoy them at dinner. Very comfortable !! We did have an issue with some scratches on the legs of 2 chairs. We contacted the seller and they got back to me in a few hours. I explained the issue and they are sending me out new legs for the 2 chairs. It was such a pleasure to deal with them they are on top of it. I will defiantly recommend the chairs to my friends.
