My small air compressor developed a debilitating leak somewhere in the compressor area shortly after the warranty ended. After some web research (and a few YT videos) I was pretty sure it was a gasket issue, so I got the complete kit. It didn't cost much more than a single gasket, and it guaranteed I'd have the part I needed. Plus, things sometimes break in groups, so I figured I'd replace all the gaskets while I had everything open. Amazon has several versions of this kit. After shopping around, this one's price seemed reasonable. And at the time it was described as being made of graphite, which I thought would be more heat resistant than the cardboard alternatives. This was a while ago, so your results may vary. Anyway, this kit fit my compressor perfectly, and it has worked flawlessly in the 4 months since I fixed it. Some tips: If possible, find genuine repair instructions for your compressor. I learned that I needed to reattach the bolts with a specific torque, so I had to buy a torque wrench. It was still cheaper than throwing out an almost completely functional compressor and buying a whole new one. And way more satisfying, in the end. Also check out some DIY/how-to videos on the repair process to avoid surprises and maybe pick up some more tips. The very snug tube gasket would have been 10x more frustrating to install if I didn't know about it in advance. I think the original gasket failed because a too-heavy duty cycle overheated it, so now I pause using the compressor while it's refilling. ... show more

    • Saved a failing air compressor
This was a replacement after the first check valve fitting failed prematurely. The vendor sent a replacement promptly and it has been working 100% for over a year now. Given the outstanding customer service and that it has been working for some time now, I'm pleased with the product. Yes, the early failure was a disappointment, but the vendor provided great customer support and demonstrated a customer centric mind set. ... show more

This fit my Porter Cable Red Pancake Compressor. No more slow leaks. Had to take everything apart with a guide on YouTube but everything worked great. Take lots of photos before you disassemble it. Works great and great quality. Buy it !!

Installed these in an old Porter Cable C2001-wk pancake air compressor. They fit perfectly without any leaks. The little seal for the outlet copper tube is very stiff and hard to install using fingers. I mounted it on a similar OD drill bit shank. Drilled hole in a small piece of wood with holes size slightly larger than OD of copper tube. Lined up drill shank end to copper tube end and used small wood piece to shove seal onto copper tube. ... show more

Porter Cable compressor: the "T" seal that fits on the outlet tube is overly large and not finished and as accurate as original. The head o-ring is thinner than original. This requires finding a way to keep the o-ring from falling out of its slot while torquing down head screws until the head is flush with the cylinder before final torquing. ... show more
