This review refers to the hard, swivel style case with keyboard, not the standard hinged one. It’s a SEMI-PROTECTIVE, iPad COVER, not a “drop-proof” case, with a Bluetooth enabled keyboard. The keyboard powers off after about 3 minutes without use, or close the clamshell case, BUT, unlike a lot of people are claiming, it is NOT a big deal. Hit the space bar, and it comes right back on. The battery life varies with use, but I have gone several weeks without charging without problems. It uses the same USB-C cable used to charge the newer 12.9” iPad Pro (which it is designed for. And if you install it properly (inserting from the bottom of the case, into the top, then pushing in the bottom and turning the locks 45 degrees), it holds the iPad very securely. The hinge is very stiff (a good thing), and with use does loosen a bit (not much), but should last a while; about as well as any other case would. I have no complaints, but then again, I also have REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS. ... show more

Ihave had this keyboard for over 8 months. It is very sturdy and doesn't look shabby after getting thrown around in my work bag. I love the flexibility of the screen angles and swivels. I like the pen holder for the apple pen. I like the feel of the keys and the shortcuts. I don't like how the keyboard keeps turning itself off! It goes into a sleep mode and I can't wake it by touching the trackpad. I have to switch the keyboard off and then back on again. Also the tracking sometimes jumps or stops and I have to use the touchscreen to getback to where I want to be. I was happy with it until now I am not. ... show more

Love the color. iPad fits nicely & the pencil holder is a nice touch(fits in there too). It is not weighty but at the same time it offers good protection for iPad. There is a slight delay when start to type but not too much of an inconvenience. I love the pivet function of the case. Works beautifully. All in all I am totally happy with this purchase which was very economicly friendly. Cannot complain one bit. Wow, where to begin with this? I'm a digital artist and I use my ipad for all of my work, I was looking for an iPad keyboard so I can continue to do my work while I can easily switch to keyboard and begin to do other things, like typing. This keyboard-case turns my ipad into a laptop while also having the ease to switch and keep it's usefulness as a tablet. I definitely feel like I'm getting my money's worth with this keyboard. The power lasts FOREVER, I've only charged it once. It doesn't look bluetooth connectivity either. It is on the heavier side, but that's to be expected. The weight is not an issue to me. I only purchased it to make my content look cool. It did that for sure. I didn’t even know it had an automatic color changing mode! Definitely upgraded my content.
