I was looking for a small space chair I could convert to a bed for sleepless nights in the nursery after baby arrives. Originally, I was considered tri-fold floor/gaming chairs, but ultimately decided although they could fit under the crib at 4" deep, only 1/3 as opposed to about 1/2 the depth of a mattress wouldn't cut it. (Our son didn't sleep through the night consistently until 3.5 yrs.) I probably could have put the crib on bed risers and put this chair under it, but opted to leave it out so our son can read bedtime stories to his baby sister with me/dad/both. Our son loves this chair already, and I plan to move it into his room once it is no longer needed in the nursery (reason for purchasing neutral gray color). Given my particular nature and door/entryway/electrical outlet constraints, I had a hard time finding a spot for it in the nursery. After researching online, creating a small conversation/reading nook was the best option. Only problem was it looked off balance because the height of this chair is lower than the height of the glider. Luckily, I had some exercise steps laying around that I had used as a stool for placing our son back in the crib as a newborn (I am only 4'10".) Voila removable chair feet/platform! I may need to buy more exercise steps as a stool for baby girl, but they should be inexpensive and can be purchased used. As far as comfort, I haven't slept on it yet, but like others have said, the cushions are very firm. My husband said the chair was "really uncomfortable". However, he is not a heavy guy and at 36 weeks pregnant and post partum when getting in and out of chairs is tough, firm is a plus for me. Also, I hate waking up on deflating air mattresses so I'll take too firm over too soft. You can always buy a mattress topper to customize to your liking and it may soften over time. 6 month update: I removed the exercise steps for stability, and because aesthetics are much less important post partum. Although, the reading nook does give it a cozy welcoming feel. I haven't had any issues with it being too firm. I have slept on it multiple times and so has my mom. She loves the elevated head of it for her night-time acid reflux. She just bought one for my dad who usually sleeps on couch cushions on the floor due to his bad back. However, he is 5'9 so she is exchanging for the 72 or 75" one.

I bought this sleeper chair to go in the corner of my 4 year old sons room to take the place of a rocking chair that has been in there since he was born. He is autistic and very energetic and every night after we put him to bed these days he spends an hour trashing his room. He's put holes in the walls from over turning and jumping off the rocking chair so I wanted to get something soft and sturdy to go in that corner. I was looking for something we could sit on to read stories together, something that he could jump off of and also something that won't hurt him or our walls or window if he overturns it. This is the PERFECT thing!!! It arrived in a relatively timely manner and well packaged. I couldn't believe how they managed to fit it in such a small box! It comes vacuum sealed and the moment the plastic is punctured it returns to its actual size in seconds and you would never know it had ever been squished! Pros: - Very comfortable seat for a child or adult. Back rest is sturdy but not very high for an adult. I'd say it's comfortable enough to sit in for 20-30 minutes though. - SUPER easy to fold and unfold from seat to bed position. Just two very firm velcro straps to deal with. - The materials used are very high quality. This isn't something that's going to unravel or fall apart any time soon - Looks modern and chic and would be great as an accent chair in any room, especially with decorative pillow or a blanket draped over it - In bed form this is surprisingly wide and comfortable! The foam is firm enough not to droop, sink or sag but also incredibly soft as well - Unlike other similar chairs, the foam is very thick, making it a taller seat (easier to get up and down) and also a better bed Cons: - In bed form, it's not long enough for anyone taller than about 5'7" to sleep on. That's how tall I am and even I was right at the edge. - In bed form the back rest just becomes awkward. It's definitely too tall to lay your head on straight up and down but tilted back makes kind of a nice incline for the head if you put a regular pillow on it. Still, that aspect is a bit awkward. - Heaven help you if you even need to remove the cover for washing. It isn't easy. I tried once and gave up, opting to use Shout spray and a wet rag instead. All in all I am VERY pleased with this seat as it is exactly what I wanted for my purposes. I think it would make a PERFECT bed for child sleep overs or for a small adult. When my son is sick in the middle of the night this will make the perfect thing for me to lay on and sleep by his bed instead of laying on the hard floor with a pillow and blanket like I've done before. It's the perfect size and plenty wide for my son and me to sit on to read stories together before bed as well. I HIGHLY recommend this for a childs room or for an entertainment room. So glad I bought it! Hopefully this has been helpful for someone else! I did NOT receive this item free or at a discount

The grey fabric is very nice and strong. The couch/ bed arrived compact however in a matter of minutes it expanded. Nice Velcro straps to keep couch secure. I have a bad back and this was very comfy to lay on. Extremly like the way when out as a bed gives you a natural pillow. Queen or full size sheets really fit over this if used as a bed. I included a photo of the compressed bed out of box then a picture of how fast it expanded within 5 mins. This couch actual fit inside of an antique bed frame we kept so we turned it into our own Murphy bed. This is better then any rv mattress we priced cause of size. Also another thing to point out is when using couch as a bed you don't feel any cracks it is pretty seamless. Any child could have a sleepover and have a couch to play games on. Measurements are exact. We used a duvet cover over our complete project. The next one I purchase in the future will hopefully be for van use or travel cause the product is that cool,comfy and affordable!

The item is comfortable. The foam does not smell. It does have a washable cover but it is very hard to get on and off. This is the second one I’ve purchased. It makes a perfect bed for when my grandkids visit.
