Features

  • Easily attach any strap to acoustic endpin jacks
  • Cinch-style clamp for quick application and removal
  • No strap modification required
  • Magnetic security clasps
  • Designed for Fishman and Switchcraft style endpin jacks

Description

The D’Addario Acoustic Cinch Fit is the fast and easy way to attach your strap to acoustic guitars with endpin output jacks. Endpin jacks are notorious for creating hassles when applying and removing standard guitar straps, and usually require modification to the strap which results in a less-than- desirable fit. The acoustic cinch fit loops through the end of any instrument strap and its cinch clamping action allows easy Application and removal, utilizing the weight of the instrument to remain locked onto the endpin so your guitar is always held securely.

  • My experience with Two Taylor Acoustics
Style: Taylor Guitars
First of all I like this product a lot so far ( day 1 ), easy to use, good design, feels sturdy. I ordered two - one for my Taylor 322ce & one for my Taylor 712ce. The D’Addario cinch fit perfect on my 322ce but it was very tight on the 712ce. The 322ce is a 2017 & the 712ce is a 2016. Both have the es2 expression system. I tried both on each guitar and the fit was the same. So in my experience, D’Addario cinch fit was consistent and the guitars were not. ... show more

  • Fits Taylors with ES2 9 Volt Battery Compartment
Style: Taylor Guitars
I've owned many Taylor guitars but have only recently begun using a strap. I discovered that the post on the 9 Volt battery compartment for Taylor guitars with the ES2 pickup system was too short to accommodate a typical guitar strap. There are many workarounds out there, but I have purchased and used several of the D'AAdario cinch fits for my quality Taylors and they work extremely well. I've never had one disconnect unexpectedly and they attach and disconnect quicker than the straps alone. I've used these Cinch Fits for over a year now and they have never failed me or marred or scratched the finish on any of my high-end Taylors. I highly recommend them. ... show more

  • Genius. Sad that we need this, but genius.
Style: Original
My Yamaha FGX has an integrated jack built into the rear strap button and the button is the same size and shape of a peg style button. Why in the heck do other pick up manufacturers have to change the size and shape of the button? Why? It’s ridiculous. Nevertheless, if you want an LR Baggs pickup, you will need CinchFit lock. Just put it in your cart and hit buy now. Get it over with and make you life better since LR Baggs and Fishman and K&K and others cannot make a jack like Yamaha. Geez. ... show more

  • Fits perfectly over a wide jack and strap button combination
Style: Original
It has to be tied on to an existing strap and you have to tie it well with a knot that won't slip. I've had mine for several months and the strap has never come off like it did periodically with a regular strap.

  • The hole in the Fishman version is 12mm, and the Taylor is 8mm
Style: Original
I ended up purchasing both versions. The round opening on the Fishman/Switchcraft version is about 12mm in diameter. On the Taylor version, it's about 8mm in diameter. On my Yamaha CSF1M guitar, the endpin jack's outer flange is 12mm, so the 12mm Fishman version of the cinch fit, even when fully closed, was able to slip off over the flange. The smaller part of my endpin (where the cinch fit is supposed to be) is almost 9mm in diameter, so the 8mm Taylor version would not close all the way around the pin, and the magnets could not meet. So I took the Taylor version and CAREFULLY used a 11/32" drill bit (almost 9mm) to enlarge the hole ever so slightly. Now it seems to fit my guitar perfectly, and I'm pleased with the final result. Just FYI, I could not find any official information about my endpin jack, but the guitar is a Yamaha CSF1M with a passive pickup (SRT Piezo). ... show more

  • A Must Have
Style: Taylor Guitars
If you play guitar and are in situations where you have to take your strap on and off at the end pin this is a must buy. You can remove the strap easily and your guitar will not fall off the strap. I put these on both of my Taylor’s and use both guitars in live situations. Stop looking around, this is your solution. ... show more

  • Works pretty much as expected.
Style: Original
I read a number of reviews and wound up buying several different ones. One from each provider. Mainly because some of the reviews were so negative. The application was for a Fishman Strapjack. It fits perfectly. Feels secure. I would definitely use it. The little string attachment looks like it might scratch. But, this is my stage guitar. A few scars just adds character at this point. I’m a pretty laid back performer. If you lean more toward the Old Crowe Medicine Show you might look for something better. But, once you are plugged in, it ain’t going nowhere. ... show more
