  • Works great
Team Name: Regular Color: Black
I've been using 2 inch guitar straps for my basses forever, mostly because I buy Ibanez and Schecter, which are light. However, I picked up a Sterling Ray34HH that is definitely over 9 pounds and after a 3 hour jam session, my shoulder was killing me, so I decided to get one of these for Prime Day. Pros 1. The padding is good, and the 3 inch width helps distribute the weight more. Feels better. 2. I like that it has a little stretch to it, makes it less painful when I'm bouncing around. 3. Seems like it's made out of gold materials. Feels like it'll last a while. 4. The strap connectors are tight, I don't feel like it's going to drop my bass. Neutral 1. The strap length is just barely long enough for me. I like to play a little lower with a 45 degree angle, and this strap maxed out is on the high side of my preference. Cons 1. Gets tangled easily after I take it off and set the bass down. No big deal, just a little annoying. Overall, happy with the purchase and I'll probably get another one eventually so I'm not swapping one strap among my 4 basses. Overall, very good, even if it's a little pricy. See ya on Black Friday Kliq! ... show more

  • Stretchy comfort
Team Name: Regular Color: Black
I have an old injury that makes playing bass while seated for more than a couple minutes VERY uncomfortable (my hand falls asleep if the elbow is too bent). Which means when I play bass, even to practice I have to stand so that my right arm can be at a more comfortable angle (so it doesn't start immediately tingling and going numb). I am a female, 5'9" with a medium/slender frame and shoulders and had been looking for a bass strap that would allow me to play for several hours at a time without fatigue. This strap was mentioned on bass forums, so I gave it a try. LOVE IT! The 3" width is perfect on my shoulder. The slightly stretchy give helps it feel lighter. I dont jump around but I definitely dont hold still while playing either, and I find the stretchiness perfect for moving with me comfortably. Lovato sells a strap that looks very similar to this one in 3.5" width which i tried since it is cheaper than this brand. But it didn't have the slight stretching to it that makes this one so comfortable to me. Also, I found the 3.5" width too much my shoulder. It fit very awkwardly. I ended up returning that strap. Anyone who likes playing with their bass higher up (or who is shorter than me) might want to get the short strap. I find this strap is perfect for me at the tightest adjustment to play my bass jut under my belly button. Thinking about getting another to keep on my backup bass. I love this strap! ... show more

  • Comfortable Quality Strap
Team Name: Regular Color: Black
My first impression of the strap is that it is very well-made. Stitching and seams are straight and beefy. It is a clean functional design. Logo is discreet. I got a 3” black strap. I have used the strap with a 9.5 lb PRS Kestrel bass for about five days. It is extremely comfortable. I saw some of the negative comments regarding the chemical smell and that the strap material stretches. The strap smelled like a new neoprene wet suit when I took it out of the box. The smell quickly dissipated. Not a big deal. There is some stretch in the neoprene material. I did not find it to impact playability . The “give” the strap for me is a plus. I think it makes the strap conform better to my shoulders and body. Regarding comments that the strap air cell nubs are slippery. I found that the strap grips great on my cotton/cotton blend T-shirts and hoodies. The bass I am using is well balanced. No dive. If you have a bass with major neck dive, a suede strap might be a better call. For me the grip is solid. I also saw comments that the leather tabs on the strap are too thick. The beefy straps fit perfectly on my stock PRS buttons. My buttons have a pronounced flare which helps with retention. I am using this strap with standard Fender strap blocks (rubber gasket thingys). It is a tight fit. Which is a good thing. The blocks have not moved. The strap feels very secure. Lastly. Sizing. I got a regular size and run it at 47“ (so almost in shortest position). My strap is true to advertised size. Some of the comments regarding sizing seem unwarranted. Just measure your existing strap size from hole to hole and order accordingly. ... show more

  • Comfortable strap
Team Name: Regular Color: Black
I read every review. Twice. And now I'll add mine. This strap is great for my needs. I have a Gibson Les Paul. If you know you know. Those can wear on the shoulder in a hurry. I have a couple of other wide straps. A leather one which grips the shirt too much and isn't fine adjustable, and a nylon one that has always been good for my other guitars on stage/practice. But that Les Paul... Enter the KLIQ AirCell. It doesn't make the Les Paul any lighter. Because physics, but it does help alleviate where the weight sits and is distribute on my shoulder. Because physiology. I was able to get a good fit for my standing stance/profile. I'm 5'7". Dark hair dark eyes. The stretch wasn't noticeable to me and even when I'm rocking "it" out, I don't feel the bounce some others get. Maybe I'm not doing it right. This strap does suck if you sit. It's stiff enough that it wants to keep standing. Much like things in jr high. There is a slight chemical smell. Does that go away? I hope. Does it matter to me? No. Could this review be anymore annoying? Don't tempt me. ... show more

  • A Guitar Strap Anyone Can Like! This is now my all time favorite Strap ever!
Team Name: Extra Short Color: Black
For years I've accommodated my guitars and straps to my small body adult size (I'm 5 ft 4 in). While previous guitar straps I've worn can work for much taller and able bodied people, sadly they did not with me. Not even 5 or less than 5 minutes could my body handle the weight of my guitar (5 libs) without it feeling too heavy and virtually unplayable. ANYONE should have the access and playability to play a wonderful music instrument like the guitar. Playability, more than flash and style, is absolutely paramount to me. Then after searching far and wide in the interwebs I come across the KLiQ Air Cell Strap. Reading the reviews of this product intrigued me and peaked my interest. After some time I gathered the funds and purchased the strap to try for myself. Least to say, this strap is a dream come true and I couldn't be happier. The wide 3 inch strap felt amazing right out of the box.. literally. The cell pads into the strap gave my shoulder immense comfort that I didn't get with previous straps and it's durable & sturdy enough that you can still move around with it. The end leather straps feels well built and holds onto the guitar real secure. No need for lock straps IMO for this strap, though I'm not ruling them out. Even if you adjust the position height of the guitar the wide 3 inch support still hugs your shoulder nicely without intense give and pull with other straps. A small tinny complaint but more a nitpick for me is the right bottom lock strap, since it's made of leather, can make this leather-y rubbing sound when moving around. I had thought this wouldn't be quite an issue with this strap since it's so durable and sturdy. However lots of straps I've previously owned still made this leathery-y sound when rubbed against the cover paint of the guitar, so I'm used to the sound now. It may be a bother for other guitarists but nowadays it doesn't bother me at all, nor take away my admiration for this amazing guitar strap. Also the "leather" smell can be a turn off for some but I personally don't mind it. Big, tall, short or skinny, from large Les Pauls to child-size Mini Squier Strats this strap is truly a remarkable piece of craftsmanship for electric guitars of almost any size (or bass guitars for that matter). I could not recommend this strap anymore highly. If this can work for me, this can certainly work for you. ... show more

  • Awesome strap. Took the load off an extra heavy guitar. Very surprised how much i love it.
Team Name: Regular Color: Black
I was actually quite surprised. I wasn't sure I'd really like this strap but I tried it for a full gig. My guitar is really heavy. It's a 1980 Gibson Sonex 180 which weighs between 11 and 15 pounds which will wear you down during a 45 minute set. To be honest I don't remember once thinking this is getting heavy. This strap performed better than any strap I have ever used. These is 1 small thing I needed to get used to. The strap gives. Maybe 2-3 inches. It's kind of elastic which is great for load bearing and strain on the shoulder and back but it takes a little getting used to. One some has me sliding onto several notes and I missed a few at first because as I struck the string I could feel the guitar move away from me ever so slightly. Like anything else it's just about getting used to it and the wear and tear it saves me is well worth adjusting to it. For example, on that some I put my foot on a stage monitor and stabilized the guitar. Once I'm used to it I won't have to do that. If you're active when you play and jump around male sure you practice with the strap before going live. Once you know what it does, if you have a heavy guitar, I think you'll fall in love with it as I have. I love it but suspect some people won't because it is really different from a traditional strap. I'll buy one for each of my gig guitars. ... show more

  • It works! Great strap for heavy guitars
Team Name: Long Color: Black
I was a bit skeptical about the little pillows under the strap making any difference, but it actually does work. Long ago, I had an elastic strap and hated it....couldn't get used to the guitar bouncing. This has a bit of elasticity in it too, but not nearly as bad (a little flex, but no bounce) and it does help relieve the weight a bit. The combination of stretchy fabric an soft pillows does the trick. Just for a test, I put a wide leather strap on my guitar and it was painful after about 30 minutes of playing. That's the result I had gotten in the past, causing me to use that guitar for ONE set, not all night. Well, now I can use the heavy guitar too. If you have long arms (like me) and wear your guitar lower than most, measure your strap before ordering. I got the long one and it's perfect. Most straps I have are a tad short and I have them maxed out. Suggestion; put a pick holder in the strap ... show more

Worth the money. I have this guitar strapped to my chin, so the padding helps any back discomfort.
