So I ordered this, it shipped quick, and arrived fast. The screen protector itself is good quality, and fits perfectly on my Air 3S RC2 transmitter. The only flaw with this is the alignment tray. A lot of phone and device screen protectors come with these alignment trays now, this one didnt really seat right over my transmitter which caused a bit of an issue getting the protector on. Luckily I was able to take the protector out and apply it manually. I believe this may be because the applicator alignment tray may have been designed for multiple models of transmitter, which isnt ideal if they have any differences. Either that or it just has a design or manufacturing flaw. Either way, I got it on and the glass fits perfectly. I'm sure this kit costs more than just glass alone, so in that case it wasnt worth the extra cost for an applicator that I couldnt use. Because of this I guess use caution if you need the alignment tray to get your protector applied, If I knew that was going to happen I would have ordered a different one. They may all be like this, I dont know so I wont bash it. But I know with cell phones these trays are very precise with tolerances. It worked out in the end for me. The Instructions are clear, and the glass seems to be good quality. It stuck fine and no bubbles.

Good solid product. It definitely helps cut glare on an RC 2 screen. At high altitude and high UV, I’m finding I need AR glasses to truly get a screen I can see. But the CYNOVA shade probably reduces that need to only the 25% of full sunshine, mid-day light. It also fits well and offers significant protection when the remote is stored and is really nice that you can leave the joysticks installed.

The CYNOVA DJI RC2 Screen Protector is one of the easiest screen protectors I’ve ever installed thanks to the included auto-alignment system. The installation frame lines everything up perfectly, so there’s no guessing or trying to manually center the glass on the screen. It made the whole process quick, stress-free, and nearly impossible to mess up. Once installed, the protector fits the DJI RC2 display extremely well with clean edges and full screen coverage. Touch sensitivity remains smooth and responsive, and the screen clarity is excellent with no noticeable loss in brightness or sharpness. It also does a great job resisting fingerprints and protecting against scratches while traveling or flying outdoors. The tempered glass feels premium and durable, and the bubble-free installation was a huge plus. For anyone wanting to protect their DJI RC2 controller without dealing with frustrating installations, this is an excellent option. The auto-alignment feature alone makes it worth buying.

Utilizing the supplied alignment jig, the Screen Protector went on about as nice as any I’ve ever installed on any Device. Perfect alignment on the corners and with the Installation Video online, it could not be any easier. I had a couple of Air Bubbles that pushed right out, applying pressure from the center outward and now it is not even noticeable. The appearance is flawless. It’s good Stuff in my honest opinion. 10 out of 10, I do recommend. Keep it safe out there, SkyDigger out.

UPDATE 1-28-26: Cynova reached out to me regarding my issues with the alignment aid and offered a refund or replacement. In that the screen applied perfectly with zero issues for bubbles or any visual defects, and in my case was manually installed to get it to align correctly, and for their excellent customer support, I’ve updated my review here to 4 stars. Well done and thank you Cynova. ——————————————————————————————————————————————————— I’ve used screen protectors on my iPhone, iPads and camera screens for years and depend on them to protect my glass screens. They’ve saved my screens from wear and tear and avoided fine scratches in dusty conditions. I’ve used mostly manually aligned screens with a few new ones that came with a snap on guide to allow perfect alignment. The Cynova screen itself is perfectly sized to fit the RC2 to the exact dimensions. There is zero room for error since the screen borders and almost makes contact with the RC2 frame surrounding the glass screen. This glass screen has to be -exactly- positioned or the glass will not lie flat to contact the entire RC2 screen. I found the alignment frame did not stay in place 100% securely and there was a tiny amount of movement to it when trying to align the screen to the RC2 glass. I ended up doing the good ‘ol fashioned method of manual alignment and after a few tries, got the glass exactly aligned. The fit is snug, but, when you get it into the correct position, impossible to tell it it there! The glue used is a crystal clear, forgiving if reapplying, a non-bubble type and there were no issues with bubbles or delamination at all. If you need to lift the screen, use fingernail only, do —not— touch the adhesive surface or you’ll get a dead (smeared) spot that won’t adhere correctly. Also, prep is absolutely required to get the glas on with a single spec of anything under it. Wash your hands , face and moisten your hair. tiny specs of dander or skin can come off onto the glass. Especially during the dry and cold days of winter with static! I always use a flashlight at a very low angle to glass to do a final inspection of the screen area after the wet and dry wipe and the final adhesive sticker dust removal. I found 2 specs this way after all was done correctly and just before putting down the screen protector. Use the ahesive sticker again while inspecting with the flashlight. You want ZERO specs of anything on the screen before the protector goes down! The screen touch sensitivity is excellent and I saw no difference after the screen protector was put on. So, the glass and adhesive in this brand is excellent, but, I found the alignment precision of this very poor. Considering this comes with 2 screen protectors and others offer 3 without an alignment aid included, I will say, had I know the outcome of using this product with its alignment kit, I’d probably avoided it and just purchased 3 screen protectors for about $5 less. As mentioned, for the perfect fit and the excellent adhesive they use, 5 stars for that and for the poor outcome using the alignment aid, 1 star, = average 3 stars!

JUST WHAT I NEEDED PROS: Alignment: The alignment tool fit on the DJI RC2 perfectly and lined the screen protector up perfectly first time! Clarity: Even in direct sun there is no glare on the screen from the screen protector Touchscreen: I was very happy to see that this screen protector also did not affect the use of the touchscreen on the RC2 at all! Ease Of Use: Had it installed in about 5 min and the provided all of the tools to get the job done as soon as possible Value for the money: I was happy paying the extra few bucks just so I would not have to worry about aligning those stupid these stupid things but little did I know they actually gave you 2 screen protectors in the box one all ready in the guide and another that you can place in the alignment tool and use on another controller! CONS: ZERO!!!! I highly recommend this product and it really is a must have for flying! Have a Blessed day, and happy tinkering!!!
