This game is simply amazing! Yes it has bugs, many as of patch 1.05 have been squashed. Its Dec 22, 2020 and ive got 50 hours of gameplay in by choice because im having fun just exploring, doing side missions and about 12% through the Main Story. I have both the PC version (with hardware that is a combined 4-7 years old on Windows 7 64bit) and the PS4 version (playing on PS4 Pro). Both are playing pretty damn good and looking amazing. There is some Crashing here and there, but its becoming less of an occurrence with the latest update. You have complete freedom of how you want to play (hacks, stealth, guns blazing, non-lethal take downs) as well as how you want your character to develop. This takes a lot of elements of the table to and modernizes it into an RPG-FPS looter shooter. Since Cyberpunk the table to is very niche and not a lot of people are aware of it unless they dabbled in table top games, the next best comparison I would place this with is the Shadowrun Isometric RPG games, not the crap Microsoft one from the 2000's. Obviously not a top down T-CRPG. IF you are wary of picking this game up, its very playable now and beautiful to immerse yourself in, you may wish to wait until March 2021 after the next 2 major patches they planned to smooth out the stability on all systems. CP2077 is a 9/10 for me. Dont buy into the negativity of social media, remember the developers worked from home and dont deserve that negativity after the hard work they are still doing to make sure this game is as they intended it to be.

This game have it's bugs here and there, but so far the gameplay overshadows it. The gameplay to me superb. I love that the city is alive and very different at the same time. You can play it your way: stealth, run and gun, hack, close range or from a distance. You can even do it all. I also like how the choices can affect certain outcomes to a certain degree. The weapons are very fun, i wish they had a little bit more variety and randomness, so that you wouldn't be picking up the same identical gun. But that's a small gripe. It's a great game to me and it's fun. One of my favorable moments was when I was able to explore more in the open world. Now, I have been playing on normal and up until now, things were a breeze kinda. So I went into the part of town where the missions were pretty much very high. I'm going in like I'm a bad**s about to dominate, I got my guns blazing, thinking this going to be easy. They put 2 bullets in me and I was dead. I was shocked like "what just happened"! So ok, I shook myself, thought it was just a fluke and it happened again and again. Ok, now I'm like wow! These mugs are super tough. Now i got to change up my fight pattern to just hit and run lol. It was a fun experience though. I enjoyed that. Now Im able to handle to a certain degree, seeing that I've leveled up and got better weapons. This game is maybe a 9.5/10 for Pc version.

Bought the PC version of the game. Came with a bunch of goodies like a map and stickers. The actual game was in the form of a code that you'll need to input into GOG. Cyberpunk 2077 was one of the most highly anticipated games of this decade. I knew it would be unlikely to meet the sky high expectations set by the gaming community. After playing it for an entire day, I must say I'm happy with what I'm seeing so far. Sure, there are a few bugs and the game can be optimized better. But the most important aspects of the game, story and gameplay are both impressive. I highly recommend it as it's great fun and I'm certain based on CD Projekt Red's track record the few issues will be fixed in time. If you're a fan of rpg and open world games, this is the game for you.

Not as polished as expected, however I've downloaded and played within about 20 minutes of arrival. The game looks fantastic with a truly great story. Minor bugs are more funny than game breaking. Glad I bought PC rather than console. No lagginess nor graphics downgrading. Running on a custom PC with a Gigabyte Master X299X, Intel i9 10900x, 64GB PC 3200, Evga 1080Ti SSC, and Samsung 970 Pro 1TB. While I don't get Raytracing it still looks amazing They could have animate non interactive NPCs mouths, but they generally make snarky comments so not a deal breaker. People reviewing it so negative are writing out of ignorance and anger. Any decent PC can run the game, albeit not in it's fully glory. And one stars because you couldn't predownload a game you've not received yet? Think about that. Not a five star game...yet. CDPR is notorious for continuing to improve their games. If you want to blame anyone for the mishandling of this release, blame the corporate folks, not the developers pulling 100 hours a week to make this great game.

I want to start off this review by saying yes, there are bugs. I'm about 30 hours into the game and found only one side mission quest that was broken from the start. At the end of my review is the fix. This game looks absolutely amazing. The atmosphere really pulls you in and it is hugely fun to play. The skill tree is very well thought out. The game actually encourages you to go into every skill tree and I'm constantly having to decide what build I want to go for. Very balanced game play, which I feel is a huge achievement. In my opinion, don't wait for the devil to fix bugs, this game is fun as it is right now. Treat yourself or another one you love for Christmas, but don't expect to see them much afterwards because they will be playing this game. Biggest bug is the initial crashing some people have. Here is how to fix: I have Nvidia graphics card. Manually make sure you have the latest driver installed. Secondly, make sure you have direct X 12 installed. I was crashing at the start but this fix worked for me.

I know there are a lot of negative reviews on here, but I just have to share my experience. When I first purchased this 2 months ago (for PC), I was hoping it'd be a digital download, because that would make the whole process a lot easier. The price was $49.99 which was $10 cheaper than anywhere else so this was a good deal. I soon learned it was a physical copy and that in order to have it arrive on December 10th, there would be a $10 charge. This would sum up the total to $60, the same as anywhere else. I could've cancelled the order then but I didn't. The more I waited for this game, the more I realized I wanted a physical copy because this game is historic. I dont think there has ever been a game as anticipated as Cyberpunk 2077 before. Having a physical copy with all the goodies inside can make it a collector's item in the future. The game arrived before 12PM on December 10th, and I was able to download the game through GOG and play it on the same night. My experience with this purchase on Amazon had been a smooth one so I have to share my experience on here. The game certainly isn't perfect, but it's a damn good game in my opinion so far. I'm willing to give it a chance and not bash on it before finishing it.

This game has so many issues, and I decided to get the PC version instead of PS4 version after all the backlash regarding the bad quality, glitches, and issues of PS4 and console versions so quickly changed my order to PC as it was getting 'decent' reviews for PC, Regret ever buying this game at all. For some reason it wouldn't even play on my pc despite my pc meeting all the standards and requirements, I even repaired it, or did whatever you had to do to attempt to fix it through GOG----Which is another thing. I was under the impression it would be Steam or some other store. Then after I send a request for a refund for the game that I haven't even got to play once, through to the company of Project Red, I was never got back to, until the time where my window to return it through Amazon was no more----then they proceeded to tell me there was nothing they could do for me in terms of refund besides basically 'credit/wallet' funds on GOG which is a platform I do not use, I wasn't even aware that's where the digital code was 'for' so Credit/Wallet funds would be useless to me on a platform I do not use, they weren't helpful, hardly kept in touch, were rather indifferent to the situation. I've played many pc games, and console games never have I ever had a experience like this one, where a game is sold with so many issues on various platforms and where some have overall good experience while other's have horrible experiences, and some don't even get to play the game such drastic difference in experiences when it comes to this game. I'm glad some got to enjoy it if they did---but this was more a nightmare for me and has me now wary of games in the future. I think I'll look more into them before purchasing, not that I didn't already, but my trust on what's being sold to me and what is promised me with purchase is now skeptical and wary after this experience. I'd give it no stars if at all possible in overall rating. Don't expect any form of customer service, or help, they are short at the best of times, or never get back to you for multiple months at a time. Getting a refund is more difficult then it should be when they promised to give refunds no problem. (If you get one at all).

This game is no Witcher 3. It's has an entertaining world, a pretty great world (although not executed as well as it should be), some unique ideas and the story is decent. It's not a 10/10 by any means. The AI is as terrible as people say, the NPC's are mostly just for show and the world doesn't feel like a living breathing world. You will need to spend a lot of time tweaking your settings to get this to work and you will have to restart a few times when this game turns to a sludgy mess. I have a 2070 super card and I had to really tweak the settings to get this moving. This game just isn't ready for primetime and I'd wait until they release a lot (and I mean a lot!) of patches first. Even if they fix a lot of the glitches, this game is still not a 10/10. The NPC / AI issues aren't really going to change all that much. You really did get better reactions from the NPCs in GTA 5 vanilla. Hold a gun up to someone in a vehicle, they just sit there. Run into their vehicles, no reaction. Pull a gun out and shoot someone in a public area everyone just crouchs. In certain areas, they just crouched forever until an event causes the area to reload. NPC stutter and sometimes freeze up while spouting dialogue. Missions can't be completed sometimes do to the bugs and you have to restart. Things just pop in and out when you look at an area and then look away. You just expect a little more from CDPR and I wish they had waited about 2 more years to release this. It's not the worst game and they will get it more polished in time. I'd wait for that. It's just not worth playing yet in it's current state.
