I really like this rack! The one I had previously was some cheap rack that constantly collapsed and interfered with my tire. This one is solid and sturdy, and I have not had any problems with it falling over. I’ve carried tons of groceries in the basket, and it stands up well. The installation was very easy, and took me less than 30 minutes. I am very happy I bought this item. The only slight downside is that the size of the basket interferes with locking my bike to railings, as it holds the frame away from the railing a lot further than the basket I had previously, but that is more of a trade off, as the extra capacity is worth a little more work locking up.

The Bike Cargo Rack by the CXWXC Store is pretty good so far. This was so much easier to install than a competitors, and it also had just 3 main pieces, so it required quite a bit less nuts and bolts! As I suspected, by looking at the ad pictures, I do now see that I affixed the Mounting Bracket Arms wrong - to the top of the Rack Platform, instead of through the bottom, but it still works. My only complaint was that it wouldn't fit on the bicycle I bought it for, a Hiland, due to the lack of "Rear Dropout Eyelets", so instead I put it on my Specialized Hard Rock Comp. I have yet to do any actual "mountain biking", instead making trips to the store, for exercise. But I have plans - so maybe I can still do that, seeing how easy it is to remove this rack!

This was the second rack I tried and I’m thankful to say that it fits perfectly! I wasn’t sure it would because the product pictures didn’t provide the best measurements, and I wasn’t sure if it would be long enough to reach the existing screw holes on the frame. However, it fit as if it was made for my bike and I had zero issues with the screws or installation. The basket also is in a good spot so that it doesn’t rub against my back. Two suggestions: 1) When installing, screw the silver bendy pieces onto the frame first and then attach it to the rack. I think the instructions told you to attach these to the rack first and then to the bike frame, but it should be done the other way around. Also, the little screwdriver provided was basically worthless and I used my own wrench to hold the nuts for tightening. 2) This rack would be perfect if it also came with the option to buy a waterproof cover and/or panniers. I loved that the rack had the basket that was pre-made for it, and the bungee cord cover is great, but I really want a waterproof basket liner/cover and/or pannier that’s made to fit this as well. P.S. The written installation instructions have some pretty hilarious typos. Thanks for the laugh!

Sturdy so far. But the mechincal design is so terribly unfriendly, wasted tons of time. I have installed ~12 racks for my cousins and such and never have I spent so much time like on this one. You save 10 bucks buying a cheaper item and end up spending 2 hours extra on it, is that worth it? Proablly yes for those who manufactured it, but not for you.

You never know what you're gonna get when you order these random, no-name products off of Amazon these days, but it seems to have worked out this time. This is a pretty well built rack and basket. I like the fact that it comes with a bungee cargo net, something that I don't remember seeing in the description. My only gripe is that the assembly instructions are pretty high level, and don't go into every detail about installing it. There are somethings you will have to figure out on your own, like the fact that each screw needs a washer with it, and how to attach the single-post stabilizer. Otherwise, not bad for the money.

It’s pretty much 12 screws you have to use if you are using the mounting disc. It was so easy the video was easy and using the installation manual helped. I first set out all the washers, screws and parts and assembled while watching and following the video. It was assembled and bolted onto my electric bike so easily. I wished I bought this one first as the other one I bought didn’t bolt on directly and had to use zipties to only got that one scratching my paint. Overall I love this one! You need a rear reflector or led reflector for night rides. This is why I was desperately looking for a cargo that was basically bolt on. I also put a green for the hole I used off my mounting disc and a red for another mounting disc you can use. I was never able to understand how it worked but you basically just hand tighten the assembly with the screw into that hole and it’s mounted on the rear.
