1st thing you notice when you try it out is, it’s wound backwards according to the controls. After rewinding it and then flipping the wench in its mount. Other then that so far it’s passed all tests.

This 4000LB wench can't do what it says, it is a piece of garbage. Save your money and buy a different wench. This "4000lb" wench cant even lift our 500lb golf cart up the truck. It literally takes 10 minutes to move the golf cart up about 10 feet. We had a 2500lb wench from Harbor Freight that worked great until the cable twisted so we thought we'd upgrade to a higher weight for more speed. WORST decision we have ever made. The remote cuts in and out no matter how close you are, the wire connection is not very long (maybe 2 feet??) Just a piece of crap! I would return it but can't as we modified the plug to fit into our truck. Didn't realize this would be the worst wench we have ever bought. DONT BUY IT - GET SOMETHING BETTER !!! ... show more

    • Clutch is garbage dropped 700 pund item clutch wouldn't grab
Welded already or I would return it first operation it dropped 700 pound item and clutch was gone so I will never order this brand again all I could save it remote and controller now I use that one difrent one but it was like click and then it never grabbed and I was pissed can't trust anything anymore if I didn't weld it I would return but they got me sold me defect now I'm stuck so stay clear from this it's built with trash parts if I get my money back I may take this down otherwise I should leave it right here to others don't buy garbage ... show more
