Our baby is 6 months old and around 16-17 pounds, and very long. We put this on her for some boat rides and she HATED it. She was practically being strangled by it... she had to keep her chin pointed upward the whole time and couldn't move around freely at all. It might have been ok in the water and worked better, but just as a vest to wear in a boat it is not comfortable for her at all and I would prefer a different style vest for this purpose. ... show more

Not easy for baby to nap in. I had to prop up the back of the jacket with blankets for her to sleep. She also decided that it made an excellent chew toy. We would pull it away from her mouth and she’d go right back to it. She’s 3 months and just under 12lbs

I really love this vest- easy to put on and off. It's soft, bright and pretty. Baby doesn't like the back head rest so well and hard to hold her when she's wearing it but if she fell in the water it would hold her head up out of the water. And we are now compliant for boating so I would def recommend this to other parents. ... show more
