This is a nice bag. Lots of space and the extra removable side bags are great. Molle is awesome for expansion. I added yet more side pouches, a hydration bladder, and some tie-downs to the rear molle. Great value for the price, it seems pretty durable and I see no faults in the stitching. Got it in tan color, and looks great. Zippers are heavy and strong. I used this backpack for a weekend warrior retreat and it was exactly what I needed. The build quality feels solid and durable, with heavy-duty fabric and strong zippers that held up to constant use. Nice HD material, the zippers look to be of good quality. Closures have snap fit buckles, I have not had the opportunity to load it up and carry it using the pack straps however they appear to be of similar high quality as the rest of the bag. The MOLLE system is a nice upgrade from the ALICE system that I carried in Vietnam. Appears to be a high quality product at a very reasonable price. I finally got out to the range with this loaded up and was I disappointed. One side and the front add-on pouches kept falling off, the snaps do not hold! The front pouch a s small handgun in a nylon holster, four 7-round mags of .380 the entire thing including the pouch weighed less than 4lbs 4 oz and it would not stay on. By the time I loaded the pack into my vehicle they had both fallen off twice. Things got worse at the range. Just shows how looks are deceiving. The Molle system on these is nothing like the UDGI system I was shown by a range warden today. Since it's made by the CCP I can see why they would want components to be falling off of it. Don't waste your money, spend more and buy American. ... show more

The material of the pack is good and heavy, and all of the sewing is good. There are bar tacks and doubled stitches where they need to be so the pack has been and will continue to be durable. The zippers are durable and the buckles and loops seem to be up to the task. There is a water bladder pocket, and a hose clip and Velcro flapped hole for the feed tube. It is not a deluxe pack but at this price I fell it is a good, reliable pack for my use. At this price it does not have a lot of features like back ventilation an internal frame or a good quality hip strap. After using it for several month there are several things that don't work well and that seem to be design errors. The outer pocket has a pleated back for expansion, but the liner does not so this added complexity adds no value. The upper compression straps and the straps that run from the pack to the shoulder are the same strap and are not tacked in the middle and seem pretty useless. I would like to tighten and compress the upper pack to prevent shifting, but since it is the same as the shoulder it is not really useable. Lastly the side pouches are poorly secured. There are no horizontal bars and there is only a snap at the bottom. Once they have been attached and detached a few times, they simply don't stay snapped. Any tug or snag will pop the snap because there are none of the horizontal straps to relieve the stress on the snaps. In total, it is a bargain for the construction and durability. It works for hauling my shooting gear to and from the truck, but it isn't what I would use if I was hiking it any distance. ... show more

This pack is large! If you might not be capable of carrying a fifty pound plus pack this might not be the pack for you. It is very well made with rugged material well stitched quality zippers and more buckles than I thought was possible on one pack. I could easily pack a weeks worth of clothes and extras if I wanted to use this as luggage. 3 removable pouches, one with shoulder strap convertible to waist strap make this a very versatile pack. water resistant coating inside help it to be all weather. This is a bottomless Back pack with room pockets and straps to carry all your crap in the boonies! Hell I lugged a 16 pound bowling ball around in it to adjust straps an waist belt. Waist belt needs to be reworked for smaller waists as me. Not enough reduced size . But is reworkable with a needle and thread an creative skills to get it to sit on the right place. Well worth the money and you'll see and use the detachable waist pack. I carry much in this pack for camp exploring and hike abouts.
