Bought this as it was the shortest adjustable scope I could find in 40mm for an air rifle setup. The scope came well packaged and fit my needs perfectly. That being said, remember this is a scope for under $50 and you get what you pay for. I had to heavily adjust to even hit a target at 35'. I've never seen a scope so far off from the factory. But it adjusts easily in the field without tools. The covers are way to big and don't do much. Pretty sure they are for 50mm lenses. The optics are not great at all. I can barely make out a squirrel across the yard because the clarity is so bad. But it still works as intended once it's sighted in. Not sure how long it will stay this way as it's mounted on a pump up air rifle so we shall see. Overall I will probably look elsewhere if it has to be replaced. ... show more

This compact scope is exactly what I was looking for as it is about the right size for my Crosman 2250 PCP build, I was hitting dime sized groups with iron sights on this build, so I know it is capable. But with this scope on, I could only get it zeroed in for a couple of shots before the cross hairs jump either to the left or right. Would have really wanted this to work, but unfortunately this is the case where you get what you pay for. By the way, recoil on my 2250 carbine build is none existent, so recoil is not a factor for this units failure to hold zero. Update: seller got out of their way to give me a full refund of the purchase price, even when it was way past the return date. I may just give this little scope anothet shot, as my other CVlife branded scopes are still holding up fine. ... show more
