I’ve been putting the CVLIFE EagleFeather 1-6x24 LPVO Rifle Scope through its paces for range sessions and some light field use, and for its price point—typically $80-$100—it’s a surprising contender in the low-power variable optic (LPVO) space. This scope, with its 30mm cantilever mount, 5-level red and green illuminated BDC reticle, and second focal plane (SFP) design, aims to blend affordability with tactical utility, and it mostly hits the mark. The build quality feels robust for the cost. The one-piece aluminum tube has a matte black finish that’s held up to minor bumps, and its nitrogen-purged, O-ring-sealed construction promises waterproof and fogproof performance—I’ve had no issues in damp weather so far. At about 22 ounces with the mount, it’s not ultralight, but it balances well on an AR-15. The included cantilever mount is a nice touch, aligning easily on a Picatinny rail with no wobble after tightening. Optically, the EagleFeather impresses for its class. The 1-6x magnification range offers a true 1x (red dot-like) view for close quarters and decent clarity up to 6x for mid-range shots—think 200-300 yards max. The fully multi-coated lenses deliver good light transmission; I’ve used it at dusk with the illumination on and could still pick out targets clearly. Eye relief is generous at 3.9-4 inches, a standout feature that beats many budget scopes requiring you to mash your face against the eyepiece. The field of view (107’ at 1x to 17.5’ at 6x at 100 yards) is wide enough for quick acquisition, though edge distortion creeps in at higher magnifications—typical for this price. The etched BDC reticle, with 5 brightness levels in red or green, is crisp and functional. It’s calibrated for .223/5.56 or .308/7.62, offering holdovers out to 600 yards, though I wouldn’t trust it past 300 without serious testing due to the SFP design (reticle size stays constant, so BDC is only accurate at 6x). Illumination helps in low light, but daylight brightness isn’t dazzling—fine for overcast days, less so in harsh sun. For the money this scope it great. I am just running it on a 5.7x28 so it is not taking a ton of recoil, but it is holding up great so far. I will come back and edit if there are any future issues from this product but as of not this thing is hard to be for an inexpensive lpvo.

does not hold zero, no cvlife product will. ignore youtube reviews and amazon as they are all paid for by cvlife. no torque specs for the mount in the manual. reticle light cuts out despite changing batteries and testing conductivity. I gave this and one of their red dots a chance, even reaching out to customer service. no response from them at all. neither product held zero while trying to sight in on bags at a range. these truly are only meant for airsoft, despite their marketing. spend 2x on an LPVO that won't let you down, don't buy this.
