I bought these cutting boards to replace 2 old cutting boards: one plastic & one bamboo. Both were old & heavily scored from years of use. These new boards seem excellent. They DO make a lot of noise when a knife strikes them. They remain in place during use(no sliding around). Very easy to wash by hand(no dish washer) & set on end to dry. They are light enough to pick up & slide chopped meat or vegetables into a pan on the stove top. I notice no odor remaining from things like cut onions. I am pleased with my purchase & recommend these cutting boards to others.

Okay I am so impressed with these cutting boards! The quality is 10/10, very durable, easy to cut on and warp resistant. Love that it’s stable on any surface and so easy to clean. Very happy with this purchase, going to order more for gifts. Also so aesthetic!

These are really nice cutting boards. They do make some noise when cutting on them but nothing that I can't deal with. You can hand wash them and there isn't any residual onion smell or the mushrooms don't make them brown. I like having a sustainable cutting board at a reasonable price.

I love these. It's great having a non-plastic board, so I'm not cutting plastics into my foods. The "moat" around the edge is great for catching juices so they don't run all over the counter and so far they've cleaned up nicely and have maintained their original shape and texture. The little feet on the corners help the board to stay where it is and not slide on a slick counter and it's thin enough that I can easily store it where I want to without it take up too much space. I haven't noticed any weird odors as some plastic boards have. Overall, I'm quite happy with these.

I purchased the set and liked the design however the larger board did not lay flat on the counter top and rocks back and forth diagonally. I reached out to the company for replacement assistance and Mira with the company says to contact Amazon support but when you try that Amazon sends you directly to the Barenthal company. These are being returned. Very disappointed. I will try one more purchase and see if I luck out with a good one.

I purchased these because all of the plastic cutting boards i previously purchased were getting knife marks and discoloration where the knife marks are. These are very nice ones because they are recycled wood no knife marks (not sure if these will dull my knifes though), easy to wash, a little bit heavier than plastic though. I just purchased these, so i will see over time how long these last. I have been using the gorilla grip ones, but i like these so far. I might buy some more of these and get rid of the rest of my plastic ones.
