CuteBee does it again!!! This turned out beautifully, had amazing details, and it was challenging! As a musician I really appreciated the instruments and all the little tributes to classical composers, Vinyl Records and of course recognizable book covers. This was only my 2nd book nook project, and was definitely more difficult and time consuming than the Owl Bookstore. I wouldn't recommend this one if its your first time! However, with lots of patience and creative maneuvering I was able to complete this in a total of about 9-10 hours. (I worked on this in several sittings). Lots of glueing involved, so I recommend having some tacky glue on hand as it works perfectly and dries fairly quickly. I also suggest tweezers; there are incredibly tiny parts to this set that were difficult to place. There was only one item that I managed to break myself, but fortunately it wasnt exactly needed and I covered the space with a book. The wire lighting gets me on these, and it was awkward during the build, but it all came together in the end! Overall Im very happy with it and Im excited to start my next project! These sets are great quality, sturdy, and snap together very nicely!

Pretty straight forward assembly and came out very nice! I’m going to get all the Japanese ones to complete my shelf now. There were some odd things though I included in a video. The instructions skip 40-42 but I noticed they were on the very back. That was definitely not how it was meant to be. You do have to be careful when sanding as the parts chip very easily but maybe I’m too aggressive. I also really love how easily accessible the battery back is for when you need to replace batteries. Despite some issues, I still rate it 5 stars since it was higher quality compared to other kits I’ve done.

Wow. Fun! I had no idea i would have this much fun building something my birds can destroy in 15 minutes! Well made. Looks legit. Wood pieces are durable. Very impressed. I have like 3 more. Took a couple hours like for 2 nights. Cool project.

I really enjoy these book nook kits. While they seem easy to build, they can be quite complicated. Especially, for someone like me with Arthritis in my hands. I turn on some meditation music and I start building. This particular kit had one major flaw: The roof tiles were sill screened backwards throwing off the whole look of the roof next to the smaller side wall awning roof parts. Other than missing a few origami pieces and the plastic windows refusing to stay glued down, this is cute and looks great in my row of Japanese city walk.

I bought this kit for my husband. He enjoys building these types of kits. It was easy and has very nice details. His grandfather was a barber. My husband was able to customize the build. He changed the name of the barbershop to his grandfathers. He thoroughly enjoyed working on this book nook and creating a wonderful memory.

The CUTEBEE Book Nook Izakaya kit was fun and easy to build (I spent about two hours spread over a few days to complete). Although there are kits that appear to be identical to this one (except by name on the box) sold by other vendors, this seemed to be the most affordable. All parts and pieces came in the box and the parts fit correctly (didn't need to trim or force any parts together). The pieces were securely attached to the various placards and they were also easy to remove while I was building the kit. No need to use a razor to remove any of the pieces. I did have to buy some silicone modeling glue (not included with the kit) to attach a few pieces. I was really happy with the completed kit. Looks very nice. This Izakaya kit serves as a nice reminder of the wonderful time I recently had in Japan.
