This is my review of Cutebee’s Book Nook Kit This is a great way to spend some time, by yourself, or with another person (spouse, son, daughter). It is a great rainy-day project, or just when you have a bit of time on your hands, and you do not want to watch reruns of your favorite TV show. I have made dozens of these, so I know the good kits, from the average, to the bad. I think this is my third kit from Cutebee, and I consider this one to be of good quality. The wooden parts are colorfully printed (sharp, not blurry), and they are laser cut for precision. Plus, the additional parts are of good quality, and the lighting harness is operated by touch control. When receiving this item, make sure all the parts are in the box, and that the lighting harness works as required. Note: It requires 2aaa batteries, not included). Glue is not provided, so you will need a good glue that dries quickly, and when dry is clear. My suggestion is to take your time… Do not rush the process, and just have fun with it. And, when you are finished, you will have a lovely retro barbershop that you can display on a table or bookshelf with pride.

I love this sliding doors and well made. It was very easy to follow the instruction and most of the parts fits very well. I really like the way it's designed especially the sliding doors. Only thing I would recommend will be put some wax the area where needed to slide.

Fun build, really enjoyed. Very visually pleasing. Some extra pieces included if needed. Pieces snapped together with few glitches. Used glue in some places even when not required by kit directions. In the end, was unable to get lighting to work as installed, though it worked pre-installation. My fault, I’m sure.

Absolutely love these. I’ve probably made about 6 of these book books and I never have a problem with any of the pieces being or broken missing. I will say you do have to buy glue to assemble some of the pieces, it’s not included in the kit. But super fun to build, great price as well. Worth it in my opinion

I enjoyed this piece, I’d say it’s great for intermediate level DIY’ers as you will have to make things from scratch but it’s not so crazy you literally have to make everything from scratch. Definitely worth getting.

You have to be quite detail oriented to complete this build it took me approximately 6 hours of nonstop building. But it turned out so cute! Very happy with it. Would highly recommend!
