Great little knife to carry everyday
My parents had a set of CUTCO kitchen knives from when my father sold them about 40 years ago. I have several kitchen knives that I love, so I wanted to give this a try. It is a very nice little blade and came very sharp out of the box. It is lighter weight than it looks, very light on the handle side. Wearing in my front pocket with the clip, I forget it is there almost and it does not interfere with putting my hand in my pocket.

Exactly like the Ka-Bar Delica
The Ka-Bar Delica is this knife EXACTLY. But Ka-Bar sells theirs for $28 here. Save yourself the money and get the non Cutco branded one.

10+ years and going
Bought this for myself for a 21st birthday in 2011. It’s been an EDC and a random hiking knife here and there. Overall good knife to have for random jobs around the house and cabin. One handed opening is nice as well. Nowadays I use it once a week at my weekend autozone job and it still gets the job done. I’ve used the Cutco sharpening tool that came with my parents’ Cutco kitchen set they bought at the same time. Nice knife…would I buy again? Mind you the price was MUCH cheaper almost 12 years ago. I’d probably look elsewhere at this $175 price in 2023.

Cutco Lockblade pocket knife #1891
I’ve owned hundreds of pocket knives in my life. My wife gave me this Cutco lockblade knife #1891 as a wedding trinket. I have been carrying this pocket knife with clip for 26 years as of May 13, 2021 It has a “little less blade” than when it was new, but keeping it sharp over the years has taken a slight toll on the blade. The ONLY sharpener I’ve ever used on it, is the Cutco sharpener that came with the Cutco kitchen knife set she acquired 26 years ago. The blade is quick to sharpen and stays as sharp as a razor for quite a while. I literally came here looking for a new one... but the one I have is fine, sharp as a razor! I’ll keep what I have. Thank you for an awesome pocket knife Cutco!👍🏼
