Got this for my 7 year old, he absolutely loves it. He’s been using it on a bunch of different materials just trying to get a feel for what tip does what on different surfaces. Battery life seems to be holding up great, is very sturdy and easy for him to use comfortably. Update: it no longer works unfortunately. It’ll turn on for maybe 2 seconds then turn itself off. Bought two for my grandsons. They loved it! After about a month one stopped working. Emailed them, they responded immediately. Replaced the engraver with upgrade!

    • Easy to use but it takes practice on getting the exact cut that you want.
This engraver is pretty neat. I tried it out on scrap piece of wood to see how each of the adapters work and what kind of engraving that it does. I've used it a couple of times to actually design on some wood work that I was doing. It takes practice on getting it just right as anything else that you would get that you haven't used before. I would recommend this product but again you would have to do practice work to get it right the way you like it. ... show more

It's compact, easy to use, and the charge lasts so long. I've had it for about a week since Christmas and now I'm starting to try engraving on glass. And if this works everybody in my family will have their own name on their glass. Such a great way to get into Engraving

    • Unreliable product that no longer worked after 2 months and 2 uses; very poor customer support.
I have used the engraving kit over the 2 months that I had the product. The third time I tried using it, it kept shutting off. Finally, it no longer would turn on. I contacted Resparked asking if I should ask for a refund from Amazon. I was contacted by the company twice with the exact same questions, even though the second person who contacted me forwarded back my answers to the first inquiry. The asked me to provide them with "A short video showing what happens when you try to turn it on". Bottom line, nothing! They want me to take a picture of the device not turning on when I press the on button? Based on the device not even lasting 2 months or more than 2 uses and the lack of customer support by the company, I would avoid considering this product if you are looking for an engraving device. ... show more
