These patches worked well with a dexcom g6. They do supply complete coverage but they don't necessarily last the 10 days I want. I ordered these in black.

At first I thought these might be a waste as my CGM stays on pretty well on its own. But I do have to say I do catch the CGM on things while getting dressed, drying off from the shower, etc. This helps with that. Also, if you are self-conscious about people seeing your CGM, this would be a good cover so people won't ask questions. As others have said, I can see this being helpful in either the ocean or the pool. Just an added bit of protection for your unit. I haven't worked out with it yet or have done any rigorous exercise so can't comment on that. But it seems to stay on well and is helpful. Not sure if it's for everyone but definitely helps in certain situations. ... show more

    • Good for protecting your sensor when you're in the water

This is probably obvious, but I’ll mention anyway that this is not a bandage, it doesn’t have any cotton/gauze component. It’s just a big oval that is sticky on one side. Despite the picture on the product page, there is no bump to accommodate the sensor—presumably because it’s meant to work with different products, which have different sizes and shapes. You just peel off the backing, which has a wavy cut right down the middle so that you can peel from the center, not the outside edge. I found that you have to take it slow because the backing paper tears easily. You want to slowly pull back on each side until the sticky side is open wide enough to put on top of the sensor. Then just pull each side off and make sure there is a good seal all the way around the sensor—which can be a little challenging, and best done by someone else for you. My husband started using a CGM recently to get a more precise handle on his blood sugar. It was a surprise to him that CGMs can be glitchy, reading fairly far off from the finger-stick number. And wearing a CGM in the swimming pool? Wow, now we know why it’s not recommended to be in the water more than 30 minutes when wearing a CGM. Being in the pool for almost an hour pretty much made the readings useless. That was when I learned about these covers, and found that they are effective for keeping your CGM sensor in good working order even if you spend an hour or so in the water. Very cute adhesives to apply over CGM. Got these for my mom who has trouble with bumping the CGM or getting clothes snagged on it. With dry, thin skin, the adhesive on the CGM is not enough. These stay on pretty well and cover enough area that if bumped the CGM stays intact. She can get her reading easily through the cover as well. The edges do start to come up a little after a few days, I expect from tossing and turning in bed. So far these have been the best solution to holding the CGM in place so it lasts as long as it is supposed to. ... show more

These Curad adhesive CGM sensor cover patches are compatible with the Libre Freestyle 2. They’re nicely oversized, 3.13” X 4.13”, and are very easy to apply by yourself. They provide complete coverage of the sensor. The adhesion could be better, particularly when wet, as they tend to come immediately after a shower. They’re not as waterproof, or as lasting, as some other patches that I’ve tried. Aside from not adhering as well as I had expected when wet, they’re excellent patches, definitely above average quality. They perform quite well in dry conditions. They’re non irritating to the skin, and reasonably comfortable to wear. The tan color looks good, it’s much less noticeable than the black color. They’re not the best sensor cover patches that I’ve tried, but they’re certainly not the worst. The overall quality is slightly above average. At around $1 each, they’re quite expensive for daily use. I recommend considering other options as well, that may provide better adhesion and value. ... show more

I thought these did a great job at protecting the CGM monitor. It helped keep it away from water/moisture, and provides an easy peel when you're removing them. I got a pack of 25, and it's nice to have a few on-hand for when you might need them. I like that they offer a black option, so that you're not stuck to a weird design, or with something that stands out very much. It's subtle, and is comfortable to wear for longer periods of time as well. I don't feel the need to take it off after wearing it a short time. ... show more

These were used to hold on a Dexcom6 and if you put these over top right away it keeps the device on longer but if you work out a lot you will have to replace these every couple days careful not to pull the device off fully I would order again though.
