It's a joy to boot up everyday. I've only had it for two weeks so far (so if anything changes, I'll update), but it's powerful enough to meet all my needs. I will mark Pros with (+), and cons with (-): +I'm a YouTuber, so it running DaVinci Resolve flawlessly for my video editing is much appreciated (I can even edit in a 4K Timeline without any lag or fooling with proxies/low res optimized media. It's absolutely amazing for content creation and production overall. Perhaps even more suited for that than gaming. +That said, I'm also an avid gamer, so this thing being able to run just about any game you can imagine is great. It's not the most powerful, but it can still game on high settings just fine for about 98% of every game you can think of. +The storage is amazing, and the lightning fast loading time of apps and such is much appreciated. Explorer may hang a bit sometimes, though, it's rare, so just keep that in mind. - A bit of a nitpick, but I'm not too fond of the glass side panel. If you're not careful when you need to remove it for maintenance, you'd damage it easily. I'm not sure if all modern PC cases are like this, but just be wary of that. -If you're a hardcore enthusiast for 4K, maximum settings in every game that exists... you're better off either spending on a more expensive pre-build, or custom building. It can still 4K game, but you'll have to sacrifice some settings. If you value the absolute best graphical experience, this will not be a very appealing machine for you. 1440p gaming is perfect on this beast, however. ... show more

Oh let me list the ways I regret this purchase. -Unpredictable crashing This thing has crashed on games that aren't even that complex for this machine, it's crashed on ending a Youtube stream, it's crashed on boot up, it's crashed on restart, and it's crashed on web pages. Apparently it all depends on how the PC feels if it wants to work or not. -Web browsing can look distorted for a brief moment I've tried catching this on recording to no avail, but the levels of brief artifacting can vary from little squares flashing for a moment, to a whole page just stroking out in pixel puke. -Bluetooth crapped out within a month of use It can "hold" a connection, but you practically have to feng shui it and sit yourself in an awkward position -The fact that this was shipped with Geforce Studio Driver installed for the graphics card and not the Game Ready Driver No really, for a PC that's advertised for gaming, what the hell are you guys doing? Avoid this PC and this seller like the plague. ... show more

I bought this system to keep up with my needs for my hobbies, graduate school work, and to have a little fun. As such, this rig gets used for a variety of tasks such as audio video production, photo editing, data analysis and modeling, GIS, and of some gaming. My previous rig was in the same price range as this one but it was from 2014. This is a substantial upgrade. I spend significantly less time waiting for things to happen when I’m working. Even ArcMap 10 runs better on this machine so my mental health has improved greatly too. I don’t play a ton of games but Assassin’s Creed Origins and Witcher 3 get between 90-144fps on highest settings with occasional dips during busy moments. Heavily modded games like Fallout 4 and Skyrim have virtually no loading times and play relatively flawlessly even with dozens of mods installed. I have no real concerns about this rig, but if you are the type that moves their tower around a lot you should know that the cosmetic panels on the case feel a little fragile. Also the USB ports on the top of case are slightly awkward if you are setting the tower on a table. When playing games or running calculation heavy processes this system puts out a lot of heat; however, the internal temps stay in safe range. ... show more

I was originally planning on building something from scratch, but the cost of parts on this guy were about equal to what I would be paying to buy everything separate. This thing runs all my modern games at greater than 60 fps. I love how it comes with a checklist sheet confirming every part was tested and validated. My only complaint is the system only recognized 16gb of ram rather than the 32 gb jt supposedly came with. I opened the case and realized one of the ram sticks were not properly seated in. After pushing it in all the way it has been an absolute dream. I want to note that I only knew to check this because some other reviews have noted the same issue but with other components. I am still giving this 5 stars because it is such an amazing computer, but if you buy this thing, BE SURE TO CHECK THAT APL THE COMPONENTS ARE PLUGGED IN! ... show more

So far this computer has done a great job. Tech support is great but do not expect a response on the weekends which makes sense. Only issue is my keyboard just went out but I am assuming it will be replaced with no issues. Thankfully I had a spare to write this review.

We have had the computer for three years, now. It has shut off several times a year unexpectedly for overheating since we got it. We finally had a computer-inclined friend look at it to upgrade it. He said that the coolant system (a closed system) was nearly empty. He has never seen anything like it. Also, the lights and fans were installed backwards. We have to get new pieces due to heating and corrosion issues that have happened in the three years we have had our computer. I would recommend talking to a real person for your computer building needs. ... show more
