I almost bought a chainmail washcloth when I saw this style and decided to try it... It is so much easier to hold on to the little handle to get stubborn stuck on food and I use the little scraper for everything. Sometimes food can get stuck in the chainmail but it's easy enough to clean out.

Love my cast iron pans. I use one or more everyday: frying bacon, eggs, homefries; roasting pork loin; baking fritatas. But cleaning after pot roast in my dutch oven has always been the hardest and messiest to clean. Cleaning the burnt on gravy bits is now much easier with the chainmail scrubber. Comfortable to hold. If you have cast iron, get this. Once you know how to use & maintain cast iron properly, you won’t need this often… BUT, if you’re new, just happen to leave a sticky meal overnight, or just have a stubborn sticky spot, you’ll be happy. Ordinary piece of chainmail might be a little cheaper, but if you boil a little water, this allows you to gently clean while there’s hot water in the pan.
