Item constantly disconnects and you can’t always see the stream. Frustrating at night when you want to check in on your baby and have no way of having device connect properly. Constantly have to unplug and plug back in and hope device connects. Refused to get refund or replacement. Item is trash and a waste of money. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Their CuboAICare is a waste of money as well. Customer “service” is nonexistent. All we wanted was a refund or replacement, not offered either. Great paperweight to have 😐

Didn't realize that you couldn't control the camera electronically. It has to be adjusted manually. Also temperature is of the entire room. I like that you can check the camera from anywhere with the app. You don't have to be on the home wifi

One month in and not so hot. Cons: - AI, mostly this just means dozens and dozens of notifications. I can turn them all on or all off. I need danger-notifications only. Do not spam me. - Temp is a lie. Says 70f a bunch of nights in a row, added a second thermometer and its actually 62f - Sleep pad just doesnt connect, return/replaced one, tried again, bad instructions or just wrong Pros: - video is clear and connects quickly - night mode is clear - 2.4g wifi has been stable This was the highest end model we were considering. Gotta return it and go way cheaper. The extra features just arent there.

At the base level I did enjoy this monitor... for the year and a half that it worked.The video quality was solid, I liked being able to check in on my son from anywhere thanks to the Wi-Fi connectivity, and the alerts and other features were generally useful. My only gripe until recently would have been that it seemed to regularly disconnect and we couldn't always see the screen. This always seemed to happen in the middle of the night - making it imperative for us to sneak into my sons room and hope that unplugging and resetting did not wake him (resets include a beep and a bright light). Additionally the "innovative AI height measurement" never worked for us (didn't bother me as this isn't what I bought the monitor for). The real issue came earlier this month when the monitor completely shut down in the middle of the night and wouldn’t turn back on, despite following all troubleshooting steps within the app and then with support. The light on the back remained solid white, but the device was otherwise unresponsive. Support’s conclusion? The unit needed to be repaired at a cost of $40–$60, with a turnaround time of up to 21 days. And because it was purchased in October 2023, they wouldn’t cover it under warranty (1 year warranty). I get how warranties work. But when it comes to a safety device that parents rely on daily, the expectation is that it functions reliably for at least two years, without requiring an extra fee or weeks without coverage. After attempting to troubleshoot through Google search & Reddit threads, I found plenty of others reporting similar failures around the 12–18 month mark, so this doesn’t appear to be a one-off. Bottom line: if you only plan to use this for a year only, it’ll do. But if you’re looking for a reliable long-term monitor, I’d recommend either purchasing an extended warranty up front or shopping elsewhere. The product support experience didn’t give me much confidence, even if we had still been under warranty.
