The Cubo AI baby monitor has frequent disconnections, which completely defeats the purpose of a baby monitor. Even a few minutes of lost connection are unacceptable when monitoring a newborn. Customer support was extremely frustrating. I was asked to change many router/Wi-Fi settings and upload endless screenshots (app, phone OS, modem, router, cables, setup). After all that effort, the issue was not resolved. My internet provider doesn’t allow some of the required Wi-Fi changes anyway. When I requested a replacement, they required me to ship the camera back first, wait 7–10 business days for testing, and then receive a replacement — meaning weeks without a monitor. They refused to ship a replacement first. This is an unreasonable policy for a safety-critical product. The “AI” features are overhyped. False alerts are so frequent that I had to turn notifications off, and many features require a paid subscription. For a ~$300 camera, this offers very poor value. Not recommended, especially for parents of newborns.

Easily the best monitor I’ve used. The 2.5K resolution and night vision are top-tier with zero graininess. Setup was easy and the security (PSTI/2FA) gives me peace of mind. Love the smart stand design. It’s expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Great quality monitor. Great audio and video. However the notifications that my baby isn’t breathing or rolled over every 30 seconds are absolutely horrible.

We absolutely love the design (it looks so cute!) and the safety features are top-notch. The sleep analytics are actually really helpful for tracking baby's naps. The main downside is that a lot of the best features are locked behind a subscription after the first year. Given how expensive the camera is upfront, I wish more of that was free. Still, a great monitor.

Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. We honestly went back and forth on this because $299 felt like a lot with all the newborn expenses piling up. Diapers, wipes, bottles… it never ends. But we just got ours and have been using it for a couple of weeks now and WOW. I’m actually so glad we went for it. The covered face alert is actually really impressive. I thought it might be overhyped but it’s not. It really works and that alone helps me sleep better. As first-time parents, you worry about everything. This just takes a huge weight off.

I hate to say that, because when I bought the original model in 2021 for my eldest son, I absolutely LOVED it. The camera quality was (and still is) good, and the app was super easy to navigate. That said, I bought a second camera (new model) last year when my youngest was born, and I am so disappointed, and frankly MAD given how much these things cost. The app is now absolute trash. It simply does not work in any acceptable fashion. The video feed constantly lags, skips, and freezes, and the connection frequently fails altogether, despite both cameras being <15 ft from our router (+ we have the highest internet package). I have updated the app, force closed and reopened, and restarted my phone, and nothing resolves the issue. So now I'm laying here awake late at night, fighting (unsuccessfully) to get the app to work so I can keep an eye on my miserably sick 8 month old sleeping in the next room, and just fuming because for such an expensive product it should not be this difficult to get it to perform its most basic functions.

A lifesaver for working parents! Honestly being back at work is so hard but this camera makes it better. I love checking the app on my lunch break to see my LO napping. The auto photo feature is everything!!! It caught so many cute smiles today while I was at the office. The alerts are smart too so my phone isn't blowing up for no reason. I feel so much more connected even when I’m away. Definitely recommend for busy parents!
