Definitely paying for quality with this one! My first high end insulated cooler and so far I have been impressed. Works as advertised and was able to keep ice and drinks cold despite being left in the back of a hot car in the Hawaiian sun for several days. Works great for a day at the beach but would definitely not be out of place in the back of a work truck or on a boat imo. Build quality is great, everything feels tight and sturdy. Only slight downside I've noticed so far is the ground clearance isn't the greatest if your using the wheels on anything other then pavement/flat ground but even then the wheels themselves are decent and work well for rolling it around. If your looking for a quality high end cooler I'd say this one is worth taking a look at!

This thing is a beast. If you've ever needed a cooler than doubles as a bomb shelter, you can stop looking. It's our new favorite cooler - the thick walls keep everything cold (we've only tested overnight so far) and the latches are very secure - some vigorous handling will not cause leakage of any kind. Honestly my favorite parts, though, are 1) the square shape; it's the perfect size for one back seat in my car, instead of two seats like our other coolers, and 2) that it's wheeled; I'm a small person so carrying heavy coolers is cumbersome - and you can bet I'm going to make my husband wheel me on this when I'm just too tired to walk to the car. Having cushioned handles is also a nice touch and speaks to the amount of thought that went into the design. As a cooler, I give it an 11/10. As a bomb shelter, have yet to test it.

Reverse test for a Cubix 46 Quart Cooler I live in Montana, and it is a little hard to test this cooler in the winter to see how well it does perform keeping things cold. So, I decided to do a reverse test to test it. I heated a large pot of water to about 135 degrees Fahrenheit. I didn’t preheat the Cubix cooler. I placed it inside the Cubix cooler and set it out on our deck for the night. It was 5 degrees Fahrenheit outside and dropped to -1-degree Fahrenheit for a while during the time the Cubix was outside. I left the Cubix cooler out for about 12 hours. The outside temperature was 5.4 degrees Fahrenheit when I checked the water temperature inside the cooler. It had only dropped to around 76 or so degrees Fahrenheit. This test shows how well the Cubix preforms, whether for keeping items cold or hot. If you preheated the Cubix (it would be better) and placed a food dish, such as a casserole, to transport to an event it would keep it nice and warm. I’ve never really thought about using a cooler to keep items hot. Great product.

The media could not be loaded. I needed a new cooler (with wheels), so I picked up this one after someone recommended it to me. Its a bit heavier than I was expecting, but it's so well built that I understand why. The wheels are larger than my last cooler and they are made of a softer type plastic/rubber that allows it to roll very smoothly. This make maneuvering it while loaded quite easy. I took it to the beach and was a little worried that it would be tough to get through the soft sand, but it actually slid/rolled through the sand much better than I expected. With the ability of Cubix to keep my stuff cold all day, I can use less ice which compensates for the heavier cooler, so it works out perfectly. Pardon my mistake in the video calling it a 46 inch... my brain was on another topic just before I made that. It's a 46 quart. The only problem with this cooler was this it didn't fit in my trunk, but because it performed so well on it's first test, I decided to by another smaller one that I can take shopping with me. You can see my other review on the 25 qt version (it also came with an 8 qt soft sided cooler). This thing is great. I need to break out some time and do an "ice challenge" with it compared to my old coolers to see how long it takes to melt in the Florida heat.

I recently used this cooler on a boating trip and it exceeded my expectations! The cooler was very sturdy and held around 30 beers along with the ice. While the description claims that it keeps products cool for 5 days, I was able to test for 3 days and the ice hardly melted due to the excellent insulation of the cooler. The locking mechanism was also very good and easy to use, providing an airtight seal to keep everything inside fresh and secure. This cooler is perfect for boating trips or any outdoor activity where you need to keep drinks and food cold for an extended period of time. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend this cooler to anyone looking for a reliable and spacious cooler.

Really impressed! high quality build, tons of storage space & very functional - yet nice cube design for car camping or picnics, I bought this to replace a Yeti Roadie that broke! The wheels allow 1 hand moving & the side handles allow for easy handling. All the hinges are super durable. I do 4x4 off road camping and I like that its very sturdy and able to last half a week, perfect for long weekend adventures. Well insulated with easy access what more do you need.

I’m excited that I don’t have to carry a 60 or 70 lb cooler to the beach where you have to park a mile away to find parking, in 80 degree weather, also carrying a bag, also making sure your kids don’t run off, and keeping yourself from keeling over from heat exhaustion. Just overall excited to roll this thing! It’s also a plus that I don’t have to worry about the ice melting after 30 minutes in the sun with its thick walls!

The latches, wheels and handle unit are well designed and very sturdy. Used it over the weekend and it kept all the drinks so cold the ice didn't even melt at all. Would definitely recommend this cooler over Yeti or RTIC. It's a great value for the money! Going to order another one to take out on the boat.
