I already had the upper full-armor, palm heel sliders (like skate boarders use), and the knee and shin armor. All I needed to complete the set was this bottom, hip, and outer thigh protection. I'd dropped my 600lb bike on my self 7 times. The first 5 without armor (and crash/engine protection bars on my bike, which also keep the bike from crushing your legs); the last two with armor, including helmet, and Cry No More, gloves with steel threads. I purchased these after a couple unplanned "get-offs" on my off-road motorcycle. Being that I'm an older rider these get-offs hurt more and take longer to heal.
