Wow, just wow! This seed storage is awesome. Like they say, it's not your crypto unless you have your own keys. If you are going to be your own bank, you must take the proper precautions. Writing down your crypto wallet seed phrase on a post-it note and putting it in a safe place may not cut it. Unfortunate events like fire or flood will destroy your ledger or trezor, or any other hardware wallet along with your post it notes. A well-made fireproof, waterproof, rust free wallet that is offline and not susceptible to hackers is a great thing to have. When I first pulled the wallet from the box, I was sort of dumbfounded on how to open the thing up and felt like somewhat of an idiot. I followed their step-by-step instructions and can’t believe how simple it is to use. You get an included tiny screwdriver, some stickers, and a few stainless steel plates with letters and symbols you’ll need to make your phrases. Once the wallet is filled with your seed phrase, just close the wallet up, and slap your tamper stickers on and store it somewhere safe. Lastly, there’s a hole at the one end of the wallet that is pretty small but you can find a small lock or even a cable lock to put through the hole for even more security. I am a newbie in the crypto world, but like millions in the last several months, I figured it was time to get on board! After doing some research and A LOT of learning prior to setting out (which I cannot emphasize enough that you do too), I ended up buying a cold wallet. With that, you definitely want some backup that’s well built and long lasting, in case that gets lost, fail, etc. The wallet only stores the first 4 letters of each word (12, 18, or 24 recovery words), but really that's all you need. I researched on this and the reason is that the BIP 39 (Design Implementation that defines how crypto assets wallets produce the set of seed words) will NOT have any words with the same first four letters. This offline seed storage wallet is the nicest wallet of its kind I found by far. This thing is good looking and easy to use. I left it on the table and my husband almost brought it with him thinking it was another nice shiny credit card! It’s a solidly built tool and really reflects the $70 price tag.     • Tedious setup but permanent feel
This AtemMade stainless steel crypto seed vault is a permanent and safe way to store your private key. In some ways it feels excessive and it is not inexpensive, but it also comes with peace of mind that the key is stored away in a very compact, durable, and secure format. The product is nicely packaged and feels heavy and sturdy. It comes with several sheets of letters to make any combination of words you need. It swivels shut and contains words on each inside half so you can’t see both halves at the same time - an additional built-in safeguard. It can be padlocked in the closed position for additional security, keeping the words locked inside. Setting this up is a bit tedious. It took me probably about an hour to break apart the letters I needed and slide them in the slots. They are a little tricky to slide in, but this is (hopefully) a one-time activity. Also, what makes it a little difficult to set up also makes it somewhat indestructible. The letters can only come out the way they went in so they’ll never get mixed up or fall out. Overall this is a worthwhile way to ensure you have a safe and secure way to permanently store your key. While it isn’t the quickest thing to set up, it brings peace of mind and is a very well-made product that helps you keeps your crypto safe. ... show more

I own a Billfodl, which is great,and wanted another one. Those are $99. This is the same exact thing - same quality for sure. The wallet is built pretty well as it is real 304 Stainless steel grade. Solid wallet, built-tough, and a definite must-have if you want to backup your seed.

I like this product, it is more easy to use than I thought. Takes about 20 minutes for me to set it up and my seed phrase in. I use this for my Ledger and it works perfectly. I will probably get another one for my MetaMask wallet as well. The quality seem fair for the price.
