Firstly, I'm an epoxy artist and I'm always looking for new things to add to my creations. I ordered the AB (Aurora Borealis) crushed glass, as well as a pack of the purple crushed glass. Both arrived on time and was secured tight in the container it comes in. However, when you go to open the containers, is when things get messy. The crushed glass goes EVERYWHERE as soon as you open it, there's absolutely no avoiding it. My best advice; just open it slowly and gracefully, in hopes to not lose too many pieces. Other than that, I'm quite happy with the glass so far! The bigger pieces sink in the resin, but the lighter pieces are easier to place/float. AB is always my "go-to" when searching for Gems, Svarski Crystal's, etc. And this crushed glass did not disappoint! Its shiny, sparkly and definetly eye catching! In my photos, I used it to play around with some galaxy themed coasters. I'm so excited to demould them tomorrow! The crushed glass really gives it the effect I wanted it to. I have bought these in translucent, black, silver, and fuschia/rose red. They're perfect for what I use them for, and work nicely with resin. My only complaint so far is that the fuschia/rose red chips bleed color into resin. Have not had that issue with the black chips, so assume it has something to do with that particular color's dye. They taped my container closed so I didn't have the issue of crushed glass in the mailer envelope this arrived in, but they stuffed a black velvet bag in the container as well, which isn't even advertised as part of the listing so why is it included? The bag caused the spillage of crushed glass over my workspace(I tried to maintain it as best as possible, which I managed to do, but it's literally glass shards so my fingers still got small cuts on them from cleaning up the mess) and the bag left black fibers mixed in with the glass that I now have to fish out every time I want to use this product for my projects. The crushed glass itself matches the pictures - I order Transparency AB and it has a nice iridescent shine to it but the packaging alone may not make this worth it. My container doesn't look like it's ever going to fully seal when I close it because the bag took up enough space to warp the lid, and I can't think of a good reason for the bag being included other than they thought we could store the plastic container in it... but that's just another glass shard mess waiting to happen. ... show more
