Model: GP-1500.2
This amp, rated at 1500watts, will run 200-250 at best. Watts = amps x volts. 12vdc x 25amps (input fuse) = 300 watts @ 100% efficiency which is impossible. On top of being over rated by several hundred percent, if I turn the gain up past about 35-40% it goes into protect mode and shuts down. Replaced with a 500watt phoenix gold and it runs as long as I want and is twice the sound. Don’t waste your time here. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. For the rating, this amp underperforms. I have 4 8x7 pioneer speakers in the doors of my truck and this struggles to keep them running without going into protection mode. It does this at very low gain settings, even though the rating is well above my speakers’. The amp itself also gets freakishly hot. Definitely a worry. But at moderate listening volumes, it’s very clear sound and I’m ok with that, just when I’m on my way to a party/club I enjoy listening to loud music on the way LOL. I wouldn't purchases this one again but I’d give another CRUNCH amp a go before writing them off completely. ... show more

Although I haven't hooked it up yet, it appears to be pretty good quality for the price. Its got a low pass filter which is really nice on a amp. And its pretty heavy for being made in china.
