  • Blazing Speed and Reliability in a Compact Package
Capacity: 1TB
One of the most outstanding aspects of this SSD is its incredible read and write speeds, reaching up to 7,100 MB/s. This translates into noticeably faster boot times, reduced game-loading screens, and smoother overall performance. The difference in speed is palpable, especially when transferring large files or running demanding applications. This enhancement has been a game-changer for someone like me, who frequently multitasks and juggles resource-heavy programs. Another noteworthy feature is its compact 2230 form factor. The SSD fits effortlessly into compatible consoles and PCs, offering a clean and hassle-free installation process. I was particularly impressed by how intuitive the setup was—even for someone not particularly tech-savvy, the process felt straightforward and efficient. This product also demonstrates durability and reliability. Crucial's reputation for quality shines through, as the SSD operates consistently without overheating or causing any noticeable issues. This level of dependability offers peace of mind, especially for long-term use in systems that demand high performance. ... show more

  • Backup turned daily driver
Capacity: 2TB
It's weird sometimes when you have a device. You will shop around with upgrades and sometimes you will be looking for the best. Sometimes you find it. Other times you stumble onto it. Earlier this year I got a steamdeck and one of the first upgrades that I got for it was a huge SSD. With games getting bigger all the time it's just a common sense upgrade to make. I initially invested in the WD SN770M because it was regarded as the best. I found that while it was running well, it was running hot. It's always good to make a backup of your installs. With how SSDs have a tendency to just go out I decided that I was going to make a clone with the Crucial P310. After the clone was made I popped it in and tested it for function as I always do and I was surprised at what I found. The 310 not only runs cooler but it's a fair bit quicker as well. It did not have the crashing while in desktop issues that the 770M has and it appears to have a better response time. It uses less power as well. My test runtime on the 770M was 2 hours when I was really pushing it and my runtime on the 310 was about 2 hours and 50 minutes. That's pretty huge I think. The elephant in the room with this drive is that most don't like it as it is based around older tech that does not have the lifespan that newer NANDs do. It only has a tolerance of 400 terrabytes. Most say that's pretty bad but you have to remember that it's going into a steamdeck. I could understand the concern if it was going into a laptop that was doing video rendering. At that point I'd say yea, that's a pretty bad idea but most steamdecks aren't going to come anywhere near the limit of this drive in it's lifetime. Overall the drive performs well, it runs on the cooler side and it has a very wide compatibility and does not have any of the heat issues that the 770M has. It's very energy efficient while being extremely fast and if for some reason you do have issues it has a very long warranty. What started off as my clone drive turned into my daily driver. Outstanding. ... show more

  • EXCELLENT for Legion Go storage upgrade.
Capacity: 2TB
AMAZING m.2, I used it to upgrade my Legion Go storage, from 512 OEM one to 2tb, with a 2230 to 2242 converter, working fine without any inconvenience. I cloned original m.2 by installing these at my desktop motherboard, all information was cloned super fast. AAA games load and run incredibly fast, I find 2tb capacity ideal for my common usage, being 1tb not enough but 4tb too much, so I'm happy with my choice. Installing it is super easy on it, though you might look for a couple youtube videos for the whole process. Another thing that amazes me is it's temperature, ever since upgrading, my LeGo feels colder, which is always a pleasant thing, it should contribute for better device health and long lasting durability. I used a 2230 copper heatsink, bought here at Amazon too + converted mentioned before. ... show more

  • Let's Make It Snappy
Capacity: 1TB
I'll admit it was a pain in the rear to get this up and running. Mainly user error but once I figured it out boy was i happy. Delivery was on time and package had no scuff or dents. The drive itself is super small but don't let that fool you. I used this to upgrade my SP7+ drive capacity from 128gb to 1tb, it was in serious need of additional capacity and speed boost. The Crucial P310 did exactly that, it expanded my pcs memory while also boosting it's load time. All in all im super happy with the drive so far. It was a great purchase and my pc seriously thanks me. Fun tip, crucial includes a special software via their website that allows you to seamlessly transfer your data from the old ssd to the new one. Make sure to use this tool if you plan to use the new drive as your main as windows does not include its own software to seamlessly do this. Another tip would be to use a ssd encasing to transfer or use the ssd as a drive. Lastly, if you're using this to replace your surface ssd then I'd recommend applying some thermal paste or heatsink to help the drive stay cool. Will circle back if any issues. ... show more

  • easy install
Capacity: 2TB
It seems a little bit faster than what was in my Dell AIO 7700 not hitting 7000 MBS but close. Im happy so long as it lasts Went to crucial for the acronis clone software. put drive in a NVME enclosure and cloned the drive. Once acronis sees a crucial drive in the enclosure it will work. Turn off bit locker. I can not access my D drive (spare drive) in my computer it is bit locker encrypted after I cloned the C drive. i dont know why. May put original drive back in and unlock the D drive. No complaints hard to get a NVME 2230 drive cheap that is reliable. ... show more
