- CRS Cross Skate Guards, Soakers and Towel Set is an essential accessory for any skater. Fundamental skate care is critical for any skater to avoid damage to skate blades. All blades are prone to nicks, dull spots and rust without the proper care. This fundamental CRS Cross set will provide complete care for your skate blades to prolong their life. Important Note: Size is based on the required soaker size (S, M, L).
- CRS Cross hard guards protect your ice skate blades while walking off ice. Blade guards come as four pieces (one pair of two piece guards), with included springs and phillips-head screws. Spring hardware provides the tension to easily stretch guards onto blades and stay secure while you walk. CRS Cross Hard Guards are "One Size Fits All". Assembly required. Hard guards may need to be cut to fit. Instruction set included with video link.
- CRS Cross soakers (also referred to as soft guards or blade covers) are made from absorbent microfiber to protect and cover ice skate blades. Your skate blades should never be stored in hard guards. Blades should be dried thoroughly the towel and stored in CRS Cross soakers. Three sizes are available based Small, Medium or Large (see size chart according to boot size). Small fits Junior/Youth boot size 1 or smaller, Medium fits adult sizes 1-4, Large fits adult sizes 4+.

After picking up ice skating as a hobby this year, I quickly realized that taking care of my vintage skates was extremely important to maintaining them as long as possible, so after looking at options, I snagged this gift set for myself. The soakers are extremely no-frills, and the towel is as well, but both have done a great job of drying off my skates after ice time. The color options are great and they look even better in person! I would definitely make sure you measure your skates and reference the size chart to ensure you get the right size soakers, but if you do, they will be a great fit. The pro shop at my rink was able to cut the hard guards to size for me, so I didn't have to worry about doing it myself, and all the items in this set are extremely straightforward to use. I can't speak to their durability, as I haven't had them long, but I have confidence that these items will stand the test of time.

Great for protecting skates !

This set has everything I needed to take care of my figure skates. The guards fit well, the soakers help protect the blades after skating, and it’s nice having the towel included to dry everything off before storing them. Everything feels well made and has held up great so far. I’m really happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to other skaters. My daughter has a pair as well and we swapped one to be silly twins !

I purchased these to fit a women's size 9 figure skate. They fit, but just barely so really measure your skates if you have a larger size. The plastic skate guards come disassembled and were a bit challenging to put together. Otherwise the soft guard and hard guards work great! The fabric is absorbent and have kept my blades rust free. The color is exactly as pictured. After 4 months of use they have held up well.

Was able to get them overnight, however the elastic popped on one side of the soaker so I returned it and was able to get it next day! The guards fit perfectly on my skates, I wear Jackson Elle's size 7 and didn't need to cut them down at all. Assembly was straightforward! The microfiber towel does have a chemical smell to it but once I washed it the smell was mostly gone.

A little assembly required, but good product

You have to screw the springs into each half and connect these together but they work well and are simple to use. She has had them for four months now and hasn’t had any issues with them.

everything’s good but the soakers

everything was great but they send me the wrong size soakers. the guards r great so is the cloth. I’m just really sad they send me the wrong soakers. I got medium, which should be 14 inches but this clearly wasn’t 14 inches
